9 is still great. What's better is that you did a lot of reps after that too of even heavier weight. I say good job and I'm sure your max is well over 275 now.

I like the cables cuz they pull your arms apart as opposed to the db or bb pushing your arms down. It's just a different way to hit the muscle. I also like to do it cuz my arms and shoulders look shredded while i do them...if i'm honest...haha

they are totally different experiences... I like the dumbbells cuz they take so much more control and coordination. I skipped a lot of this thread (at work) but earlier this year I could do maybe 11-12 reps of 225 and my 1rm was 315. kinda weird that now i've been focusing on incline dumbbell press and now 185 for 10 is difficult...lol Based on your profile pictures i would think you could easily surpass 225x10 cuz you look much more…

The MFP app on my phone had an error the other day where it wouldnt show my sweet potato but apparently the calories from my invisible sweet potato were around 8,000 so in 5 weeks I was supposed to weigh 274...which is 90lbs heavier than I am right now...lol

Yeah i've heard the term "amino spiking" thrown around recently and i'm not really sure what that means...but I've taken body fortress numerous times without regret. Some people complain about its quality but never seem to back that up with articles.
