  • I did MFP years ago and really loved it. Last two years I've been avid with WW but had to drop it due to trying to cut expenses due to COVID. It's strange going from points to calories and having to count my zero point foods, but I'm getting used to it! Skyler B
  • Just found this group. Can't wait to try and keep up with you all! Lori :)
  • Well, now it's January 2018! Is this group still a group? Because I just found you and I'm back on MFP and just turned 50 and am freaking out! The pounds have creeped up (again) and I feel like total crud and I'm tired of feeling this way. Could use some friends in a similar situation. Did you guys all conquer this last…
  • I just started Optavia on Monday! So today is day five. How long did it take for you to start feeling so much more energy? I just 'rejoined' MFP again today and will try to combine the two. :)

Also, I guess I never thought scattering small workouts throughout the day could work, but why not? It certainly would help.…
  • I've done exactly what you are doing. I've made great progress but find I'm critical with what I currently look like. How could I forget where I came from so quickly? So cut it out right now! Look at the path you are on! You've GOT this! Just keep swimming! :)
  • I have done WW and actually I like MFP much better, AND have had much better success with MFP. What does the point system actually tell you about what you're eating? Nothing. But here we see a very complete breakdown of calories, fat, sugar, etc. which is much more helpful. Over time you can see trends in your eating,…
  • This sounds so cool and like a great way to avoid carbs. But no one has talked about how it tastes? I may be a dunce, but is it actually a good substitute for pasta when it comes to taste? :ohwell:
  • Yes, yes and yes. Lifestyle change. Eat it. Just THINK about it more - fit it in, don't just scarf things mindlessly. Think and plan. Maybe not as much fun but the benefits to health and mental well being are countless!
  • Been on here for a bit but this has inspired my first post! Is it wrong to want to look good in my upcoming Supernatural photo ops??
