I am 5'7" and would NEVER want to weigh 120 lbs. That's gotta be really skinny! But hats off to ya!

Would love to know this too. I've been using a couple of my regular bras in place of sports bras.

I live in the US but am originally from Jamaica. Does that count? If so, Jamaica in the house mon! LOL!

MFP is a tool so whether or not you lose weight depends on how you use the tool. Hundreds of folks are using this tool and have been successful in losing weight....myself included. Are you weighing your food to ensure you log your calories accurately? Are you ensuring you don't consistently go over your daily targets? Is…

I have a scale that goes back to zero so I weigh the first item, set the scale to zero, weigh the next, set the scale to zero, etc. I try to ensure each item is a set number of serving to make it easy to do the division. For example, five servings of eggs, five servings of bacon for one dish. I then divide by the number of…

You deal with them by ignoring them! You can't change their perspective. Just do you and they'll soon see how wrong they were.

Hi Natasha, Sounds like you are doing what you need to do to get back on track. :flowerforyou: I do feel your pain though. I am in the middle of writing my dissertation and it is a struggle trying to balance everything to ensure I am DONE in December. I am not trying to give these folks more of my money than I need to…

When I consistently drink water, I don't go to the bathroom as much. However, if I slack off and start drinking again, I have to go more frequently until my body gets accustomed to drinking a lot of water again. That was a great analogy using the plants. That is exactly what happens with me. :flowerforyou:

Take a look at this thread where a few folks were talking about walking/running shoes for flat footed people. May have a few ideas that can help. Good luck. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1356167-picking-running-shoes-for-a-first-time-flat-footed-runner

Fellow flat footer here! Thanks for posting this topic. I plan to get analyzed at Big Peach Running company here in the Atlanta area. I am also thinking of going to Abbadabba's to get fitted just because I'm anal and like to do comparisons. LOL. I will then try to find their recommended shoe at a cheaper price somewhere…

I think MFP mirrors the real world. You will find nice folks, mean folks, helpful folks, ignorant folks, know-it-alls, etc. In my 1 1/2 months experience there are MANY more nice folks than mean folks on MFP. The few mean folks come off more sarcastic than truly mean and most of those folks appear to be ones who have been…

Can you share supporting information to back this up? Would really love to see that as I start this weight loss journey of trial and error. Thanks.

I find occasional juicing helps with energy levels among other things. I haven't done it in a couple of months but I try to do it to replace one meal, usually lunch, once per week.

My NSV: Lost 2 inches from my waist and 1 inch from my hip. Doing a happy dance and cartwheels...well, whoa! Holding up on the cartwheels for now. LOL!

Not sure about all that. This is new to me. I guess I'll go take a look at my diary options. Although, on second thought, I don't care if someone looks at what I am eating. Unless they are dieticians or I specifically ask for help with my food choices, I'll ignore the unsolicited "advice". LOL.
