As long as I'm progressing, I allow myself a cheat day every week. Less often if I'm not losing anything. That said, since I've started MFP I've noticed that I can't eat as much as I used to. So, even on a cheat day, I eat less. And a cheat is usually one meal.

Try some low impact exercises. Walking in a swimming pool will give you a "harder" workout without putting any added stress on your joints. Some cardio machines can help here to. Good luck!

I love to read. And I love the look, feel and smell of the printed page. At first I found the statistics you put on here shocking. Then I thought of my own kids. Not so shocking after all.

I smoked for 20 years. I quit probably 3 times total. One day in 2000 I decided I didn't want them anymore. Nothing special. I just didn't want them. I quit that day, and haven't even thought about smoking since. Never even had a nicotine fit. I guess it was just time. I don't know. It'll work out, just give it time. Good…
