I've lost 31 lbs and no one outside of the people I live with have noticed.

I always get hungry at night so I just save the calories to eat a small meal right before bed. It won't slow down your progress as long as you are in your calorie limit.

This was my first week on the regular calendar! The 1000 squats killed me. :)
-
Wow congrats! You look great! I love the after picture, it really helps put into perspective just how much you lost!

The great news is that if you are getting fast food a lot you have a lot of freedom. Thankfully, you can find the nutritional information for most places online so do some research on what would work at the places your parents often take you to. Most chains have several healthy options these days! If you can't find the…

I'm 27 and will be starting my first year of grad school in September!

If you like pilates, there are the Blogilates videos. I also hear a lot of good things about Fitness Blender.

Wow, I never knew you could do this.

I cut them up to potato wedge size, toss with a little oil, roast in the oven until brown and crispy and eat with malt vinegar and salt. YUM.

Without exercise, I'm only at 1.7 lb/wk loss on 1200 calories, and I have a lot to lose and am only 27. I am short, this is why. Anyway, I like exercise so I am eating a lot more (~1800) and losing almost 2lb/wk. OP I wouldn't suggest being so aggressive in your goal because it can be really miserable eating only 1200…

You should log everything to get an accurate calorie count. No matter how "clean" you eat, you will gain weight eating too many calories.

I grew up near Winnipeg, MB! Live in sunny So Cal now though :)

I'm pretty sure the first response didn't really read the whole post. I don't have much to say except I can relate. Hang in there. It is tough to keep on going but time will pass whether you are heading towards your goals or not. So you may as well keep pushing forward.

Good luck! Just remember when you are feeling like you don't have enough time to exercise because you are so busy with school that you will likely be more productive in your studies if you invest a little time in keeping yourself healthy. You can do it!

Make sure you are eating enough. If you increased your activity you should adjust your calories accordingly. The first time I lost weight I stuck religiously to 1200 cal/day and passed out quite often after running or getting up too fast. I was 18/19 and working out 2 hours a day so it was not a good idea.

I also binge eat and have found when I feel my mental state moving towards "binging" if I fast I can avoid it. So yes, sometimes I don't eat until really late, or not at all. I try my best to make my calorie average for the week be what my goal is. But fasting and avoiding intaking an extra ~4000-7000 calories (my binges)…

If you want to do more exercise, then do it. You don't have to. Just eat less calories than you burn, whatever you choose, and you'll lose weight.

I've lost a little more than 26 lbs but no one has noticed yet except my fiance. I don't feel I look different other than noticing that my clothes fit me properly instead of being very tight on me. I have a feeling people would notice if I wore more form-fitting clothes.

Hey I am also quite short -- 5'2". I lost a lot of weight a long time ago (from 194lbs to 125lbs) and gained it all back PLUS more in college, putting me at 240lbs. I work out quite a bit and am currently working on Couch to 10K and the Blogilates Beginners Calendar.

Nothing... But really, when I have a craving it's usually for oreos. I walk down to the local 7/11 and buy a ~350 calorie snack pack

I'm doing C210K. My first 10K is in November.

My diary isn't open currently but I do sometimes post status updates and the like. I'd really like some more friends that are motivating and will "like" or "comment" on something every so often. :)

If the picture in your profile is you, I don't think you weigh less than you look. I did a double take when I saw the picture and read the post because I couldn't believe you think you look like you weigh more than you do. O_o I think a lot of it is mental. I see people that weigh what I do and think I look much bigger.…

I recently started doing Blogilates and like it. It's pilates based, but a little more intense than what most people think of when they think of pilates. The workouts are all online for free and can be done with almost no equipment. Also if you like dancing maybe you'd like Zumba. There are some videos on Youtube with that…

I log everything Midnight-Midnight just to be consistent...

You are absolutely correct that it is likely not enough calories. Try calculating your recommended intake using the TDEE - 20% method. I like to use the "calorie calculator" on Scooby's Workshop because I find it pretty accurate for me. Just use Google and it should come up! It will give a much more realistic calorie goal…

Go to your local Walmart and get a food scale. They are relatively cheap and will help you avoid confusion such as you're having now. You might even lose more weight if you use one. :)
-
When you are doing this and then strangers start laughing at you instead of offering to help =P

Green tea after each meal isn't going to help you lose weight, eating at a calorie deficit will. But if the green tea helps you get enough fluids in for the day then there is certainly nothing wrong with drinking it.

Always weight prepackaged solid foods. For example, a slice of bread. Weigh it, don't just assume it's "x" amount of grams because the package says so. Of course this gets complicated if there are various components or its a restaurant meal (or something else potentially complicated) but the more foods you do this with the…
