Just bumping this in case it was missed over Easter... completely understand if there isn't anyone who has time to check the video though. Won't bump it again.

I don't think anyone here will be able to help you. If you don't trust your doctor in saying he's fine, could you see a different doctor, or get referred to some sort of specialist?

Lol - just so you know, two of those people are female ;) You can get peanut butter without added oil, it's just more expensive. You can also make it yourself, it's just peanuts that have been crushed down until smooth.

This is awesome. I wish we had all those poptarts over here. Although, not sure about the pulled pork/chocolate marshmallow poptart...

Well, congratulations. So this Apetamin, what do you do when you reach your goal weight? Do you have to take it forever, since you have no appetite without it? Obviously you wouldn't want to just lose all the weight again.

It doesn't seem to change the breast size at all when you click an option...

I have a new video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGntbiREKw8&feature=youtu.be Apparently the other sets were better with my knees, but we didn't record those. What do you think? Also, I'm not sure about the depth, but my husband checked my depth from the side with the others and apparently they were fine in regards to…

Yeah, I get what some of you are saying about not understanding the calorie counting and nutrition exactly... Though one of these people has done several bulks themselves, which is what makes me suspect it has just a little bit to do with being female. And while I see how it would be simpler to not tell anyone, that would…

Unfortunately, yes, usually the answer is to increase your calories. My husband is in a similar position - he weighs a bit more than you but lifts 3 days a week rather than 6, doesn't really do cardio often - 4200 cals a day for 1lb a week. He eats very high calorie foods, though, to manage - for instance, he has 100-150ml…

Yep :)

Maybe it's just the area I live in, but we don't seem to have much variety (or quality) in ice cream here in England... so, we make our own :) Did some really delicious butterscotch ice cream the other day. I was going to post a picture, but it turned out all blurry and, well, the ice cream is gone now... So now we're on…

What?

I'm going easy on the lifting - haven't done deadlifts, and I had a light squat day yesterday (used the bands during the work set, managed to keep them from dropping! That said, I might be 'cheating' a little as I can't put them around my knees directly, it kind of subluxes the kneecap if I do). Didn't make me feel…

Okay, I'll book an appointment... lost .8lbs last night... kind of scared, but it could just be water weight or something, right? My sodium levels average about... say, 2500mg. That's recorded - I don't log what I use in meals. That said, this last week it's been more like 1500 (we ran out of salami :) ). I would probably…

That's probably raw, with the bones.

So, I woke up feeling sick and hungry, weighed myself - found out I lost a pound. Later in the day had another (albeit much shorter) nosebleed. Then, just went to do something and started to get faint and had to sit down. And I feel really nauseous, and my head feels weird and hurts. Starting to think there's something…

What's wrong with telling them to eat more? That's how you gain weight. If you're not gaining weight, you're not in a calorie surplus, and you need to be. People are genuinely trying to help. Also, brown rice doesn't make people gain weight... Bit confused about that advice.
-
Okay, thanks - I think I'll stick with the lower calories for now, then. Will have to have a think about working out. I'm still not feeling quite well :/ Probably would be best not to, as you say...
-
Okay, no video at the moment, but I have a question about my bulk. I seemed to be putting on over half a pound a week so dropped my calories. Now, over the last ten days I have actually lost .44lbs. Wait longer, or put the calories back up? I suspect the excess weight gain previously might have been because I recently…

Thanks for the suggestions! :)

I got the impression he was saying he checked how much he had already been eating and found it was over what MFP would recommend for weight gain (and presumably hadn't been gaining) - so the calorie estimate is wrong.
-
Starting strength is working very well for me, would definitely recommend it. I don't do power cleans because weighted explosive movements like that are off-limits for me due to a medical condition, but they look so, so fun, so I'd say learn to do them :p I don't think you necessarily need someone else to teach you.

No, you weren't being offensive. Just hope I didn't offend you either. I'm not favouring weight over form, I've repeated weights and deloaded twice - it's just that the form issues don't happen under a certain threshold, so I can't address them. I do plan on starting additional exercises to help (like the bodyweight squats…

Auddii - Ah - thanks for mentioning it; I actually thought you were only supposed to brace just as you're about to squat, rather than for the whole set. I'll try to change that. Jimmmer - Well, I do usually tense my glutes - but only just as I'm squatting, rather than when I'm getting into position. The bar did feel…

Thanks for the advice, but I originally did bodyweight exercises for a month or so before starting any barbell training. And even before that, I did squats with a dumbell. And I started training with a lighter, empty bar. The thing is we're all a little bit different, even if we have the same condition, and for me, lifting…

I've got a video of today's squats. The knee caving isn't fixed yet... going to start doing what JoRocka recommended about putting bands around my knees and pushing against them, doing bodyweight squats - possibly a couple of 'sets' every rest day. It's surprisingly hard! I think it's going to help a lot though. That weird…

Oh, right. It's just that you said in your other post you were full all the time. In that case, yes, good idea. :)
-
Hope you don't mind if I ask, why have you changed how many meals you eat? It's just that when I was losing weight, I ate 6 meals a day because it stopped me from being hungry - I had to recently stop this after upping my calories several times during bulking because I was struggling to eat them all. Obviously it might not…

Well, if I don't put any weight at all on, they're fine. As for my second deload (I don't remember how much it is, but it doesn't feel too heavy. Not easy, but then, if it's easy I don't have the knee caving) - I'm very slowly improving. Last session I seemed to mostly keep my knees out, and the hip-swerving was only…

This. (It was on the first page of the thread, by the way)
