I have an odd thing with oats that the back of my knees/legs itch within a day or so of eating them. I have other non food allergies and contact urticaria (torso only!) but this is a relatively new association I found. I randomly stopped eating muesli/cereal bars and itching went away!

This! I deliberately try not to bore people with it, I just say thanks for noticing and move on! I guess you have other things you used to have in common you could talk about?
-
Not sure where you are but it sounds like you just need to explore a bit shopping wise. There is a huge choice online that you can get delivered. I use Asian Supermarket a lot that carry a lot of regional choices, there are hundreds of specialist food companies out there.

Curry them. Millions of Indian recipes out there.

I never used to bother with breakfast until I got a dog & took more exercise. Now I'm hangry if I don't eat within about 30 mins of getting up! The change for me I guess was needing fuel at more regular times though the day.

I'm sensitive to the milk issue, but have you considered just diluting it a little with water? I've done that when hubs using it on cereal and porridge all the time and didn't notice any difference. Just might put a few dollars back in the pot for something else.

... Edited out, what I thought was a US food not what I thought !!! :s

Not angry just disappointed :(

OMG this, confirms everything I thought about about them. I love them in every form but not worth the cals!!!

I had this for a while and the 2 things that worked for me were exercising in aisics 'motion control' trainers, and otherwise wearing a small heel. Wearing complete flats for too long sets it off. Didn't have any luck with shoe insets. Ibroprofen gel helped a lot as well!

Wales here! :)

Smaller portions of your normal food, or less small with more exercise. Have lost 2 stone doing that.

I think you meant to leave me this: https://www.stumptuous.com/old-broads-the-golden-years-of-pumping-iron ! ;)

Thanks will look into those, just concerned I'll need to lift forever to maintain my lady-bulk!

I do a little of both and so far so good in terms of weightloss and getting/keeping some definition. My question on weights though and progressively doing more is whether it's sustainable in the long term.... I mean when I'm 60 I'm not sure I want to be lifting huge weights to maintain!

Curry them lots :)

Antihistamine makes me tired and short tempered, even the non drowsy. If I'm honest I do find myself less motivated to make the best food choices!! It's a bit like hangover without the fun! Could you be a little less active than normal and that having an effect?

Ordered before and the meat was ok but didn't live up to the reviews. We had a selection pack for new customers and some things like burgers had quite a weird spongy texture. I think if you buy supermarket meat your experience may differ from if you buy from traditional butcher...

Yes this for me too, I get the whooshes from time to time but the fat loss fairly linear... I totally get the cold dimply skin as well...!

Maybe a bit late but my Indian colleagues tend to just order dhal and roti as a main, maybe also a side veg. All quite modest.

Maybe it's an age difference thing, but I'm 5'3" and 1420 is near maintenance for me. I'm 9st 6 and set to 0.5lbs per week & 1200 cals net. Maybe check your settings, 1420 sound high for the rate you're trying to lose and your height. Also MFP overestimates burn hugely. Unless your using a tracker or HRM you might be…

Tip from Nigella, but I find having portioned meals in the freezer handy for when I'm too tired/busy/lazy to cook from scratch. I tend to batch cook when I have time and nearly always have portions of veg curry I can nuke in a hurry. All the best for managing your illness.

+1 if your needs are not being met by you family or yourself then there is little chance of success. You need to be in an emotional place where you can prioritise your goals. It sounds like you want something else - I'd start with a few small changes and build on it slowly. 147 is not huge for your height, maybe things…

Yes this too!!!
-
Fage Greek yoghurt, 2% or fat free
-
This for me too, pretty sure high fat diet, especially dairy fat, would put me in hospital fast!! Body seems happiest on veg and fish... Good for others if you can stay healthy and get away with it!

Listen to pumping tunes and visualise myself in the band performing at Glastonbury, then all my adoring fans singing back to me B) Borderline nuts but works lol!

I'm ok on low fat dairy but whey protein powders cripple me :'( :/ Cannot tolerate them at all, same with any full fat cheese, I'm more thinking its gall bladder related rather than IBS in my case. Anyhow hemp protein is ok for me or real food...
-
Game changers for me were realising I deserved to live better than I had been, and my own needs were as important as anyone else's. Maybe don't think of it as not wanting it enough (and sure you do) but more of a prioritisation thing... Hope that makes sense!

Yeah I'm a similar height and 8st 9 is around BMI 21-22, my goal. 7st 6 does sound awfully small....why is that weight your target?
