I must be an anomaly because I have found that I can eat more than I ever thought I would be able to again. After surgery, I was full like everyone else. But I found that only after a couple of months --- I felt hungry again. I must say that I was kind of disappointed about that but I had read it on a couple web sites so I…

Hi and congrats on your journey! I was sleeved in September 2014. Feel free to add me and keep us posted on your surgery.

Awesome! Have you tried body weight exercises or resistance bands? I find that those are easiest because I can do them anywhere (and I travel alot). Womenshealth.com has a lot of great exercises for any area with many options (free weights, bands, body weight, etc.)

I have tested my limits like a child does with their parents (or at least my three teenagers anyway!) I noticed that I didn't feel as good and I stopped losing and even started gaining. I had to go back to basics. I stopped to think about this gift and how I don't want to waste this opportunity. I had to accept that I…

I am going to try that! I need to reboot and refocus. Best wishes.

I use a Misfit Shine and use it as my watch. It takes a small battery and the sync level lets you know when it is time to change it (about every 6 months).

Love the adorable polka dot swimsuit!! What an amazing transformation --- awesome inspiration.

I use Unjury (chocolate in 1% milk for breakfast and unflavored in Crystal Light) and I also like Isopure Zero Carb ready to go drinks in fruit punch, grape frost, and icy orange.

Hi! Congrats on the sleeve and your loss so far! This is a wonderful place to find out all kinds of information and feel like you are not alone in this journey with all it's twists and turns.

Wonderful transformation!!

Awesome progress! I am a slow snail but happy with progress because progress, no matter how small, is a movement in the right direction. Best wishes

Awesome progress!

I take a chewable multivitamin for sleeve/bypass patients through Opurity.com. I had to stop taking my meds for the first couple of months (crushing them was awful!) and until I could tolerate more liquids. I find that taking mine with milk (and chocolate protein powder) really helps me. I am eight months out.

I've lost in my boobs, fingers, feet and butt --- I mean...really?? Wish I could redistribute!!

I tell people that I am working on making life changes --- which is true!

Inspiring! Congratulations on your journey!!

You look incredible! Awesome journey pics. I hope to run one day --- I have been adding in intervals to start.

I have been trying to get up every hour and do a quick walk down our building's main corridor --- I work in downtown DC and our building sits on two street blocks so if I walk the length and back, my steps add up throughout the day. I also brought in one of those resistance bands to use at my desk. Some people even have…

I take a multivitamin for sleeve patients (opurity.com), B complex liquid, Calcium x 2, Biotin 10,000 mcg (minimal hair loss and I am now at 8 months out), and Vit D.

Hang in there --- it gets better each day! I was very nauseous too and that made getting liquids in very difficult. Each day will improve 50% from the day before (what my surgeon said as she saw how green I was and it ended up being true for me). It will seem to take forever to get liquids in --- sip all day long. It will…

I'm right there too! What kinds of (better) carbs are you guys eating? If I go too low, then I get low blood sugar and shaky and grab anything. I need to evenly space out my carbs and I am aiming for less than 50 g a day (per my surgeon). Thanks!

Wow! You look amazing and you can definitely see the awesome progress.

I tried to research and read everything I could before surgery. The day of surgery , everything moved so fast that I barely had time to think --- getting prepped pre op and answering the billions of questions, walking to the surgery room, and then that's all I remember...until I woke up. I did not have much pain at all and…

Wow! Awesome progress!! I wish I could take some "extra" from my belly and move it to other parts of me, though.

I hope you get that new job! Getting back time is precious --- as that "cost" is so easily forgotten but is most valuable of all.

It is your business and yours alone. And you, working with your doctors, determine the best plan of action for you. This other person is inconsequential and I would advise your surgeon about their harassment and ask for help with making sure you don't end up near each other on surgery day or post surgery. You just don't…

I use MFP to track my daily calories (food and exercise) and make sure I am getting in my nutrition requirements. I actually like to plan out my day so that I am better prepared --- I find it helps me. I enter my measurements and weight and like the reporting to see my progress...especially during stalls when I feel that…

Best wishes on your journey! I hope things fall into place. While you are waiting, try to be proactive where you can --- research, research, and more research. Start a fitness program. Read other posts and see what foods you will be eating and start slowly cutting back on daily calories. Every little bit helps and by the…

Sounds like the muscle increase is causing the scale increase --- and possibly water retained because of the increase in muscle mass also. Stay with your program since it is working well.
