I don't really understand what you are asking OP. Are you asking about the satiety value of your meals or the validity of the calorie values of your food? Studies have shown that isoenergetic servings of different foods differ greatly in their satiating capacities. ergo different foods will make you feel fuller than…

There's nothing terribly wrong with feeling lost, so long as that feeling precedes some plan on your part to actually do something about it. Too often a person grows complacent with their disillusionment, perpetually wearing their "discomfort" like a favorite shirt. I can't say I'm very pleased with where my life is just…

About to come in guns a blazing as I have a strong dislike for Banana Girl and the pseudoscience she consistently vomits all over the internet but the video is a great critique of her *cough* rationalizations *cough* I will leave an interesting link here for those who are interested in learning about adaptive-thermogenesis…

Well Op I went over your diary for just over a week and I see a couple of contributing factors. Firstly lack of consistency logging, you are either over or under or don't log at all on some days. I am not implying you have to be spot on but being over or under by 300-400 cals is a significant contribution when you start…

lol I got flagged, guess some people are easily offended. Here is an interesting insight into fad diets. Diet books; too many frankly. Most follow a fairly standard organization (the first chapter always explaining that YOUR FAT IS NOT YOUR FAULT) and, with very very few exceptions, most will tell you that ‘calorie…

BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate): The number of calories you burn at complete rest. EAT (Exercise Associated Thermogenesis): Caloric requirements of training, or training expenditure. A calorie deficit is that is needed to lose weight, beyond that there is the management of your macro/micro nutrients and also finding an exercise regime that is best suited to you (one you will adhere to) strength training is highly recommended to help to maintain LBM (lean body mass) whilst you lose the fat. Here are…

A rounder fuller butt is much more attractive IMO, and you will find that to be the general consensus around here. Congrats on overcoming an ED, if you find you are still having body image issues I second seeking more therapy but a squat butt is something to be proud of! not concerned about.

Well I consider myself a open minded person without blinders on. I for one would love to see what a person who eats 4000+ cals a day with mass amounts of vitality and lean muscle growth looks like. Also what harm is there sharing your diary as it could inspire others. Is there really any point in denying some sort of…

Besides the aforementioned suggestions of home delivery and taxis, since you are at college no doubt there would be others around you that would want to shop so I suggest carpool... ...do you shopping together as I don't think you would be alone in wanting to get groceries/food from outside of campus. Post a flyer as I am…
