Did the Plyo Circuit yesterday. I feel bad that I didn't make it all the way through, but as long as I keep going back and giving all I can, then I am making progress. Oh, and my pushups are girly ones too. Previously, I was doing the "real deal", but after a 6 week break from all things fitness, I am back to square one…

I'm not following the nutrition plan. But if my 1430 a day doesn't sustain me, I will increase it with better choices. I'm not really familiar with what is really restricted on a vege plan, but how about cottage cheese, peanut butter, whey protein? Not together, just some options for protein loading. I allow myself to have…

Or freeze a 16 oz bottle of water and roll your arch over that for a few minutes. Use a thin towel between the bottle and your foot. Once your arch feels a bit numb, stop and let it set for a bit. Then do it again. A couple times a day, or when it starts acting up on you. And always, always after working out.

You could also pick up New Rules of Lifting. That book has workout plans, exercises are described and show pictures as well. It explains a lot and by the end of the book, you may find that you aren't so intimidated by the gym and what to do, when to do and how much to do. IMO, New Rules is a great beginner guide. Best of…

^^THIS. My question exactly. What's to be reported on? The OP stated why the continuation of lifiting is the choice they made. No advertisement, no spam, no specially developed drink this and weigh next to nothing stuff. Just reasoning out why lifting works for the OP.

Ditto here. The only thing I find that works for me is to get rid of whatever my trigger food are. For me, pasta is a hard one to resist, so I try not to keep it in my house.

How do you slice a spoon in half? I've tried and just can't get a smooth edge so it doesn't cut my mouth up when I use it. :)

It just takes time. Congrats on the scale moving. I didn't try to see your diary, but if you aren't measuring with a scale, it's possible you are consuming more than you think. Using measuring cups can give you wrong amounts. Keep it up, you will get there.

It doesn't seem to me that MFP wasn't the right choice for you. More possible that you achieved a goal and thought that was a far as you needed to go regarding your weight. You admit that you binged during maintenance, and then got sick and had some problems with eating at all then eating too much. So if MFP worked the…

Hi Ruth, I'm in the same boat. 25 years of marriage later and I'm ready to focus on myself. I've been working at this since Christmas and after some ups and downs and a recent break from all things fitness and diet (gasp! I said the dreaded word), I am ready to get back to it. My diet is more of selecting better portion…

You could also try intervals. Go hard for a couple/few minutes, then slow down and catch your breath. Repeat until your time is up.
