As the others have said, it's up to you to find the time in your schedule. But looking at just what you posted, you go to sleep somewhere around 5 am and don't have to be at work until 4 pm. That's 11 hours. Do you sleep that whole 11 hours? If not, then take an hour or so during that time and get yourself to the gym or…

Same here. And I use a lot of bullets in the PowerPoint briefs.

Congrats! Now that's dedication.

Exercise is any form is for health and fitness. Calorie deficit is for weight loss.

Talk to your doctor about the stress the prostheses can tolerate. The instructor would have good input for just starting out and modification of some exercises, but your doctor would be the best option for determining what the implants can handle.

LOVE this! Looking in the mirror first thing in the morning and think, "Well, hell. Good morning sunshine."

Sounds good, but I was expecting the potatoes to be roasted too.

The quote on your page is "Keep calm and starve on!!" Thigh gaps are for flamingoes.

This would probably be better posted in the Recipes forum. But any Low Carb cookbook will give you plenty of recipes. And most now gives the calories, carb, etc.

It depends. Yup, great answer, right? A woman's shirt usually isn't long unless you buy that type. However, depending on how much the shirt is being held "up" by boobs or stomach, it may have the edge fall just a bit lower once more weight is lost. But overall, most women's shirts are designed to hang about 2" below your…

To remind myself every time I log in that I have to do this for me. And I started in 2014, but that was taken so hence the xx at the end.

Since it was around the same amount of time, just use the same calorie burn and call it a day. Trying to figure out inclines, speed, etc. will probably be more trouble than it's worth. It may not be the same for everyone, but if I don't have any reliable way to guage calories, I put as much effort into whatever I am doing…

Same here. Only it wasn't from trying on pants. It was from feeling failure(ish) with the way I feel about me. My own doing and I fully accept responsibility for it. I can't keep expecting success when I'm setting myself up for failure.

And that chicken dish looks fantastic. I'll be trying that tonight!

The Recipe forum has lots of recipes posted there. Try there.

I wouldn't increase your activity level for that. I'd just call it a buffer in calories burned for any calorie logging that may not be completely accurate. Congrats on the 44lbs!

In the Cardio section, there is an entry for strength training. You can enter the minutes and get the MFP calorie burn, or set your own.

Oh Dear God, YES!!! Getting my ex back? I wouldn't have divorced him to begin with.

I'm sorry, but your asking strangers who find ways to make nutrition and exercise work for their situations about a diet prescribed by a heart specialist? And if she's one of the best specialists in your area, do you have concerns that the diet is somehow not a good idea? From my very limited research (aka I googled it),…

Ok, I can't look at the picture, but the next time you have a portion of potatoes and have it weighed, keep that serving size in mind and do the best you can when you are out to gauge the serving size you are having. If you weigh your potato and get the grams, ounces, etc and have the calorie totals for that, then when you…

Feeling pretty darn good in my 50s. But I wholeheartedly agree with the "I should have been doing this all along" thing.

If your office will allow it, you could get an exercise ball to sit on at your desk instead of a chair. Keeping yourself balanced properly will continuously work your core.

Could be your shoes. But it would be best to be evaluated by a doctor for pain that impedes your ability to walk.
-
That's too damn funny.

Got it. Not sure with your class load plus your other commitments, what you can do. Maybe just accept that this semester is going to be light on workouts? Focus on eating as well as you can within your calorie goal and up your workouts once things start to calm down for you.
-
Can you get in your workout before your day starts?
-
Working out is for fitness. Eating below your TDEE is for weight loss. I enjoy mindless cardio as well as strength training.

I'm not familiar with that one, but most DVD workouts can be logged under Circuit training in the Cardio section.
