and heather, congrats on the weight loss, I was never overweight when I started but mfp really helped me stop eating "healthy" food that was actually crap and now i actually eat fruit and veggies instead of stuff stamped with low fat/low cal that has a ton of chemicals in it

and hey Edithrenee, you have to mess around with the weights a little bit in the drop down. For example I weigh 125 so I look under the 120lbs list since it has everything from 120-129lbs under it, same goes for height and size.

Glad you guys like the site, I've been meaning to post it here for a couple days and i kept forgetting. It really is helpful when you feel like you've gained 10 pounds over night.

I want to say thanks to everyone that responded and I think I"m going to aim for 1500-1600 (eating back my exercise cals) so I can maintain a deficit of around 500 calories a day since my BMR without exercise is like 1650 and I burn 300-400ish calories a day when exercising. I don't eat back all my exercise calories (usually they end up being between 360-420) because I'm not hungry enough to but I probably eat back 100-200 of them.

I'm 125 now and feeling F-A-T! I'm 5'3 and I'd love to be at 110 (honestly haven't been there since middle school I would guess how sad). I'd be happy to be 115 and lose my gut before summers over though.

i'm like 125ish (scale says 120 in the morning, but it fluctuates through the day), and my goal is to be about 110 when all is said and done.

Well I'm 5'3 and 130lbs, my goal is to lose around 20. MFP set me at 1200 and I eat around that give or a take a few hundred because of exercise. But I was looking at some different sources and some of them said 1200 calories was a good amount and some of them said I needed more.

I don't plan on counting my easter calories. My grandma makes a huge dinner complete with a bunch of homemade pies so I'm just going to give myself a free day and not worry about calories.

Sounds great! The last time I did it my results weren't great, but I think that's because I didn't change my diet. It'll be good for me since I'd like to look ok in a bikini when I head to the beach in june.
