My doc stuck me on Lithium and Seroquel. I put on 35lbs. I took myself off cold turkey (not something I recommend ) Had a lot off night sweats and suicidal thoughts. Now drug free and happier than I have been in a long time. Good luck to you op...hope everything gets better for you soon.

I have stopped weighing myself. I can't take it anymore. I'll just try to stay eating as healthy as I can. Maybe I'll try to weigh myself again in a few months, but right now I'm too disappointed and angry.

You are truly an inspiration to me. A few years back I had my leg amputated. I had a staph infection that entered my blood stream. I also was in rehab for just over six months. I had to learn how to walk with a prosthetic. I still struggle.....but truly feel that it is all about attitude. I still get the "why did this have…

No the ginger is pretty easy to juice....just go easy on the amount. It does have a great kick to it. Haven't tried cinnamon yet, but sounds good.

I do juice just once a day. I like to chew food:laugh: I do try to go easy on juicing too many fruits though. Sometimes in the afternoon I juice an apple, ginger and then top with soda water....very yummy.

That sounds great....I will have to try that. I poach mine in a broth of miso.

I really sympathize with you. I went down a self pity spiral some years ago as I had a prosthetic attached. I am only just starting to get off my *kitten* and move around. The kayaking idea sounds really great....might just try that myself. Never tried swimming with my falsie before...hope I don't sink like a rock:laugh:

Thank you for the prunes idea...I will incorporate that into my day. I did buy vegetarian powder. I'm guessing that my body just hasn't adjusted as well as I was hoping. Once I have expelled the demon I will lower/monitor my intake closely.

Thank you yes I know the protein in fish is good. But in all honesty, I get bored of fish some days to the point that I don't won't to eat any. So that is why I bought the powder. Just as a back up plan for when I wasn't in the mood to eat as much. The farts??....oh well I'm married. If he isn't used to them after 34…

Well when I was young my parents owned a farm. I didn't have the stomach to watch animals getting butchered.

I'm completely new to the whole protein intake. I'm pescatarian which makes it a bit tough sometimes to find sources of protein. Actually I shouldn't say that...it's a case of running out of ideas. The last week I bought a protein powder. I did invest in some bars as well. I asked a couple of folks if it is ok for me to…

I do sympathize. I was on prednisone for 2 years. I pulled myself off it though. I swear I ballooned up like a beached whale. Good luck to you, stay with the program, and stay in touch with friends. They are here to help .
