I had a berry smoothie with banana, chia seeds, whey protein, greek yogurt, and a little coconut water.

I used to fret about weighing myself everyday. I lost the 50lbs I needed to lose. Then after that I calmed down a lot about the weight, my mind was not so anxious about the scales anymore. I weigh about once a week now. I am maintaining the weight, so all good. I stay concerned but just not letting it get me down.

I like to have a protein smoothie, consisting of a whole banana, half cup of blueberries, half cup of Fage greek yogurt and two tsps of chia seeds, and a medjool date if available.(2 scoops of Whey protein)

Strawberry and raspberry chia pudding with a scoop of protein. Lemon ginseng tea.

When I was getting to a comfortable weight I wanted to go crazy at first, but reigned myself in, as I wasn't sure when the weight would start to normalize. I decided to go to a local outlet mall. The clothes are cheap, so if you decide whatever you buy loses it's charm, you aren't out too much money. Happy hunting!!

I prefer to eat after my walk, otherwise feel a little pukafied.

Thank you for all of your feed backs. Maybe trying new things is a good idea. I'm thinking boredom is kicking in somewhat. I live in a rural area with no gyms. however there is a swimming pool which is part of an HOA, so water aerobics could be my next go to exercise

Yes I am, but like you not too fond of videos. I find them a bit tedious. Not a Silver Sneakers or AARP member .

Water aerobics sounds like fun, I might look into that. Arthritis in my knees...grrrrr

Thank you. You might be right about scaling back a little. Sleep has never been easy for me, so I know that can be a large problem.

I have just started adding cranberries to mine. It gives it a nice kick.

If she has chocolate!

I usually eat after my exercise, mainly because I tend to feel a little pukey.
-
I do it purely for health reasons (Crohn's) to be honest, however seeing as that wasn't really the question, I believe it would be exercise to eat.

Everyone has their own views, and sometimes asking for guidance can be difficult. From personal experience, I found that one cheat meal versus a cheat day was better. That way it was easier to get back on track the next day. There was less "remorse".

Not sure if everyone would agree with me, however I treat myself most days. As long as I stay within my calories, and keep active, I'm not going to deprive my sweet tooth. My feelings are, as long as I eat my fair share of fruits and veggies I'm good.

A half cup of cottage cheese, half cup of blueberries and raspberries, and a tablespoon of orange blossom honey.

I personally think that using the word diet doesn't help. I've just tried to add a few veggies and fruit into my daily routine. It seemed the first 6 months on MFP wasn't working for me until I made small changes. Using a scale and really loading up on fiber helped me. I reduced some carbs, but never went overboard. (Love…

My go to breakfast is 3/4 cup of low fat cottage cheese, a cup of strawberries, a cup of raspberries, and a little orange honey.

You might want to up your calories a bit. 1200 is pretty hard to maintain. When I tried this I was ready to eat cardboard!! I guess it works for some people that are sedentary, but if active could be hard. Plus my mood was not the best. I actually had the best results by not eating after 6pm. Oh and a food scale. Good…

I think the word diet is really what used to do my brain in. So instead tried incorporating more fruits and veggies into my meals. Fruits would help with the sweet cravings, and the veggies for filling me up. I stopped the pizza/fast food deliveries and found saved so much money. I tried eating fish a few times a week…

Everyone has pretty much suggested everything I would have. Exercise, logging are important. Are you getting good quality sleep? That can also mess with your body.
