  • I am the same way. Yes, if you can manage to go a few days without sweets, the cravings will stop or be greatly reduced. I've found it to be a little easier to get through those days if I keep gum on hand to chew. It's sweet, and it makes you stop and think before you put food in your mouth.

  • Ask her to keep her sweets in her room, or at least not somewhere where you can access it. Tell her not to offer you any, either. Try to eat before you go out and about. This way, you may be back before the next meal, or if you have to eat a meal out, it's only one meal. Good luck!

  • Yes. They credit you for the calories you used while exercising and you can (optionally) use those as bonus calories and eat a little more.
  • I'd replace two days of your cardio routine with some strength training for your abs and upper body. I'd also do some for your lower body, too.   • Try eating more fiber rich foods, like apples or baby carrots. Not many calories but lots of nutrients and they'll make you feel fuller longer. I agree with lammy_cute's advice, too. If you're hungry, eat!
  • I read somewhere that a good rule of thumb is 5 to 8 calories per minute if you are using heavy enough weights.
