  • my personal experience is if i run right when i wake up its on an empty stomach with icecoffee or water if i wait awhile after getting up to go running i really need something in my stomach.

  • do you expect to exercise a lot? it depends on this. if you don't want to exercise a LOT then start with less like .5 or 1 if you like to work out you can do 2 pounds per week. i do 2 pounds per week but i like to eat a lot and i burn off the extra calories.

  • Yes you can't spot reduce its true like others said but.. there are some foods that seem to make it worse for some people. Do you drink beer? I've read that in some people beer will you more of a belly then something else for the same number of calories.
  • in the film documentary FED UP it said juice even orange juice is bad because the sugar hits your bloodstream instantly and its bad for your liver. it also said that the sugar grams per day is set high because of political pressure and should be less than 50g per day which is a lot less than one of the smoothies you posted.

  • i've lowered my goal weight two times since starting MFP. speaking for myself I didnt know how I would look at different lesser weights. remember as you break down fat you can built up with muscle in areas you want to fill out. to get a look you want. i think thats important to remember. congrats on your progress!
