I dont care if the middle sections of bread are larger than the ends, im logging them all as 1 slice. But that having been said, i dont log cardio if i have to take 1 flight of stairs randomly aome day.

People are saying that because MFP data conflicts with another source such as my eliptical trainers onboard computer with palm touch heart rate monitor. MY machine says i get 180 calories burned for 30 minutes. MFP says 395.

i lost 20 pounds or 2 pounds per week eating lean cusines and basically nothing else. It was sad because i'm a great cook and love cooking; but having PRECISE calorie numbers; especially when i was hungry and didnt want to do 20 minutes of research; really helped me lose weight.

I have a digital scale. I can step on it and get a reading. Step off. Step back on, and get a +/- 3 pound variance. It's not the scale its just gravity and air pressure and the way im leaning etc. Scales are like that. Look at the big picture only, or you will go crazy.

I was on 1200 calories a day for 2 months and lost around 20 pounds. I know it sounds horrible but my meal plans couldn't have been any simpler. I had 3 lean cuisines a day plus 1 small snack of my choosing. The weight flew off.

You should get a physical before you start your challenge and note your HDL, LDL ,Blood pressure, Triglycerides, etc! my goal was only 30 pounds and i felt NEW for a brief period but then i forgot about my weight loss until the other day when i happened to look at my ID card and was shocked about how bloated my face used to be. It made me remember and it made me feel glad about my new self.

Do you work out? I'f you do 60 minutes of cardio I would be amazed if you still couldnt sleep.

you have to guess unless you use expensive space-aged equipment. most people just guess. I use MFP database and then reduce what it says by 50%.

I can work out on elliptical trainer and stationary bike, but if I run on a treadmill, I get so dizzy I almost fall down and want to vomit. Have you spoken to a doctor about your ideal weight? I think their opinion has more merit than mine. If your goal is for your best chance at a life of good health you should follow whatever the health guidelines are and not what random peoples opinions are.

the OP is right, if its a chain restaurant then either A: the calories of all their menu items are online, or B: all their menu items are on MFP database already. Even tho the sync now button said (synced 5 seconds ago) when I load MFP MOBILE, it followed your suggestion and manually synced the device and it updated the information correctly. Thank you for you suggestion, it was the answer.

I disregard any comments that contain "clean eating". That term meanings nothing. its a made-up buzzword. Like "toxins", it is vague ambiguous and nonspecific.

I used them but then i realized that they are around 250 calories which is about the same amount of calories as a lean cuisine frozen dinner. and to be blunt, a frozen dinner is a lot more satisfying. After this Epiphany, slim fast became totally obsolete in my eyes.

Some of them are not rechargeable and have a sealed shut, 1 year battery life. So keep in mind, if you buy that kind you will have to get a new one in a year. Or send it somewhere for a new battery.

I eat exactly the same things I did before but 1/4th the amount.

coffee creamers are high in calories and have trans-fat I get powdered milk and use the powder in my coffee for a lightener. I just add the powder, unmixed, into the coffee. It has a lot fewer calories. For sweetener I use TRUVIA. I buy the bottle of loose crystals, not the little packets.

i melt fat-free cheese on ricecakes in the oven, and top it with slicked jalapeños. It's not as good as pizza but its less than 100 calories.
