bump. i haven't had success at any calorie attempt. started at 1200, tried 1300, am trying 1400... nothing. i just sit pretty at 138-140.

i guess im missing something - water is water, bubbles or not. and it was my understanding that seltzer water was just regular water... with bubbles. no sodium or anything. why would the bubbles have an effect on how much water you're consuming?

i just recently baked those chocolate chewies from whole foods... and according to labels and sites ive found, they're 70 calories/cookie. i, too, am a chocoholic. every day i end up eating SOMETHING chocolate.

hard boiled eggs. hands down, my favorite snack. i actually, sometimes, put some frozen peppers and a hardboiled egg in a container... add some garlic salt and cayenne... and make an "egg salad".

i actually just bought some and am awaiting their arrival. i'm gluten intolerant so i haven't had a REAL noodle in years... so i don't imagine texture will be an issue for me :) and i've read that they pick up the flavor of the sauce or the seasonings. so as long as they taste like marinara or garlic, works for me!

This may not be helpful... but to motivate myself, I kind of try to trick myself... I tell myself that all I have to do is 10 minutes of light exercise. 10 minutes that's it... and that usually turns into 15... or 20... or 100 more calories. Just start small. Maybe a 10 minute walk. i wouldn't freak out just yet... if you call the doctor and say your period is a week late they'll ask if you took a pregnancy test and likely tell you to wait it out. when i started all this and made all the adjustments... mine was 12 days late.

i just eat it. in smaller quantities. life is short. and then, if you're really feeling guilty about it, you'll get off your butt and go work out. which is great for you anyway.

i actually STILL have that. 140. as soon as i get there, i know i have to face it. 139.8 and im fine... but 140 and it starts all over again. my new goal is to just maintain a healthy lifestyle so that number never creeps back into my life. i'm 136 now and on the right track.

bump. im curious about this, too. i HAVE a heart rate monitor and when i workout and feel like im ACTUALLY exercising, my heart rate is outside of my 'zone'... if i stay in the zone, i don't feel like i'm doing anything.

vanity weight or health conscious weight... it doesn't matter. and really, the vanity weight is harder to lose. do this for you.
