If you are anemic (iron deficient) that would make you tired and make you feel less than "with it" - if you aren't eating a lot of meat, I'm betting you aren't getting much iron...

I wouldn't worry about it - you need the nutrients, you shouldn't cut out fruit! Fructose (sugar from fruit) can tend to have a more minimal impact than refined sugars (chocolate, table sugar, etc.). I don't pay any attention to the sugar from fruit!

If you dont eat first your body will break down your muscles to use for energy...you need them to keep your metabolism up... I used to work out on an empty stomach, but now I always have breakfast first. It keeps me going a lot longer and makes the workout easier if you have some carbs to use for fuel.
