I use to wonder the same thing with tracking. I am not "fat," but slightly over my desired weight. I just aim to eat 1650 or less a day and if I burn 1000 calories then I have a glass of wine at night or eat a bigger portion at a meal. It's morning and my small victory today is that I worked out in the a.m. instead of p.m. I do my best if I knock it out in the a.m. Gets me motivated.
