My doctor put me on a low carb diet 3 and a half weeks ago, So far I am losing really well.. 10# Ive been not worrying so much about calories but trying to keep my carbs around 60 a day. I usually have about a 100. Im sure it will slow down after a while but you might want to switch it up some and give…

  • I found some zumba class samples on the internet that you can try. Looked complicated to me. There are some hard moves. Just google it.
  • It doesnt seem like I eat as healthy as everyone else. For Breakfast: I like to use the precooked bacon (2) pieces for around 45 calories, a fried egg in olive oil spray, a slice of Delight wheat bread (45) calorie, toasted in a skillet with ( I cant believe its butter spray) 10 calories. I usually drink a half cup of 1%…
  • I too weigh every morning. It does encourage me to keep working at my goal. Sometimes I will gain a little, but I lose it usually the next day. The only time I have gotten discouraged with this is when I didnt lose for 3 weeks. I would have been just as discouraged if I was weighing once weekly.
  • In Feb when I started mfp, the weight seemed to just drop off. I weighed everyday and about every third day would lose about a half pound. After about 12# the weight just stopped. Then for about 3 weeks I couldnt lose an ounce. I really got discouraged! I thought maybe I was not eating enough, so I ate more a few days, I…
  • Im pretty new at this, with only 14# lost since the middle of Feb but I have already struggled with a plateau. ( I didnt even believe in those until now.) I think the others are right when they say that you cant cut back too much or your body goes into shock. You are already on a low calorie restriction and then adding in…
  • You have lost so much and look so great! I thought you would be a great person to ask a question to. Did you ever go over your calorie limit much and if so how much did you allow? I have a 1200 limit and go over sometimes between 150 and 200.
  • I was stuck for over 3 weeks and yes I felt like giving up but I know I can be smarter than this and figure it out. I ate out a couple of times last week and later in the week I finally lost another pound or so. I hope it continues for me. Some people do say to kind of go back to your regular way of eating for a day or so…

  • You have to add up all the calories in your recipe and measure how many servings you get from it. Then go into add a new food, name your recipe, put in calories and servings. Its a pain , but once its entered , you wont have to do it again.
  • I like the 45 calorie wheat bread or 50 calorie double fiber bread. I make a piece of toast with the healthier version of butter, one fried egg, With spray oil or butter, and 2 pieces of turkey bacon. I also have 4 ounces of milk or juice. Its really great. I feel like Im not watching calories. I also like the frozen…
