I dont add salt to anything. The only sodium I get comes in the food already. Love to use saltless spices, garlic, etc... I especially love this time of year cause I grow my own spices in the containers on my deck--MMMMMM nothing better than fresh oregano, chives, etc... We had company as soon as I got home from work and…

Did 5 Mile Advanced Walk with Leslie today. Havent done that one in a while, it is good.

MMMMMM love fruit. Love almost all tropical fruit, berries, apples, the list goes on and on. Had some blueberries today. Might have some more as a snack. Need to go shopping.

Well did not meet today's challenge. But I am ok with that since all my sugars were fruit/veggies, no treats. I also decided to reassess my goals and change my weight goals. I have only been losing inches lately and have decided to shave 5 lbs off my goal to see if that is a little more achievable. I know 5 lbs doesnt seem…

Well not sure I will make this challenge. I usually go over because of fruit. I started watching carbs instead of sugars because I do not eat much refined sugar and dont really like too many sweets, but I love love love fruit especially in the summer. I will give it a go, but usually my protein shake in the morning sends…

Love water. Dont know if I actually record all I drink on the site. I have at lease 96oz of luke warm water sometimes with a slice of lemon and then when my husband has coffee in the evening I have hot water with a lemon or orange slice. Challenge met today. Great challenge by the way. I did not always drink this much…

So I managed to eat 2 salads today!! Yay. Although I love veggies I was slightly worried about the challenge because I am in a training class for work and wasnt sure about the food situation or the ability to put food in a fridge at the other facility. But alas it was all good and I went home for lunch had a nice salad and…

I have been reading Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto (he also has another book that is available at the library) He makes alot of sense about how to become leaner and get rid of body fat and increase muscle tone. The first book I mentioned is an ebook and he has a website also. It may not be for you, but I have…

Oh forgot about the snacks part. I typically measure out in little baggies like Kristy. It is a great way to make sure you know exactly what you are eating. I have been doing this for awhile now and find if I have these little packages I do not go to the snack machine at work.

Did Turbo Jam Kick Punch and Jam followed by L1 30 Day Shred--feeling good. Veggies shouldnt be a problem for me cause I love love love veggies. Dont really like chips too much. Sometimes I have a craving for them, but mostly not so much. However, if you must have chips, on the message boards there were a couple of recipes…

Turbo Jam Kettlenetics (cardio and strength with a kettlebell) Jillian Shred it with weights (again use a kettlebell) I actually like the original Power 90 (pre P90x) but love P90x Kempo, Yoga and CardioX. Wow so many dvds and so little time.

My favorite breakfast is either egg white omlet or egg white scramble with lots of veggies. Sometimes I add a little ham, but not always. Very filling and healthy too.

GREAT JOB!!! My daughter always walked the relay for life event in high school. I donated to one, but never actually stayed the whole night. My daughter had a blast though and it is for a great cause. Hope you get some more sleep though.

Did my challenge today--rode 10.79 miles burned a couple calories and feel great!! My biggest motivator is me. I made an agreement with myself that I was going to get fitter and eat healthier and stick with it! I have been successful so far, but we are scheduled for a long vacation in July and am hoping that doesn't throw…

Well it is 5am in CO and just finished my morning cardio. I prefer to work out in the morning, but with the way my work schedule is I sometimes have to settle for the afternoon. However, if I do cardio in the morning, I try to do some kind of strength training or toning (like pilates or yoga) in the afternoon if I can. And…

Walked 4 fast miles with Leslie this morning. Now its time to get ready for work. Everyone have a great day!!

Got my challenge done!!! The most fun I have working out is when I can go outside and hike or bike. However, if I have to pick an inside workout that is fun I would say Turbo Jam and other variations of kickboxing type workouts they are my favorite. Have a great Thursday.

Awesome job. Keep up the good work and the positive attitude--it is an inspiration to everyone. Have a great day.

No walking for me today. Did pilates on the reformer and KenpoX. Was going to ride my bike, but came home from work with a splitting headache. Plan to walk with Leslie in the morning though.

I have been told that any type of core training will help the abs even after babies. I like pilates and since I have started focusing on making myself over, I have noticed changes in my abdomen-- had 2 c-sections and my youngest child is 22. I prefer the pilates reformer machine to the mat work cause it adds a little…
