I've lost 57lbs (26KG) since April 2011. I log everything, OVER estimate when not sure and weigh once a day. The scales fluctuate wildly by what I eat and the water I drink. Usual water intake is 12-14 cups. For my weight loss, water is the key. You need the water intake to flush out the broken down fat. Simple reasoning…

Great NSV, You'll need to copy and paste the photobucket link starting with IMG. When you do paste the link change the upper case IMG on the front and end of the link to lowercase letters, img. Good luck :smile:

Update 10/28/2011. After an almost 3 week plateau, the weight started dropping off again. This is at 53 lbs lost. Thanks you all for the encouragement. Best wishes to evryone that's trying their best. Greg

Good Job, those palteau's suck. Was stuck at 49lbs lost for over 2.5 weeks. Keep it up.

The hated Palteau...I leveled off for almost 2.5 weeks at 49lbs lost, couldn't cut off my arm to lose that pound for 50. What worked for me was getting out of my routine for a week. Continued to watch what I ate, but freed it up a little. Unintentionally I was eating a bout 200 extra calories a day. After a week I cut back…

You may want to look at why you're starving. EMS work is highly emotional and after a call it may just be a response to calming you down or dealing with what you just handled.
