  • thanks all, after inputing everything MFP caluclated 77 calories per cup for vanilla, 287 per cup for cake batter, and 211 for cookies and cream. :) i compared to other ice creams including coldstone etc, over half the fat and calories gone using my recipe. :) :)
  • i weigh before cooking :)
  • well just to update, went to doctor last week. my scatic nerve was acting up again. got some muscle relaxers and a steroid shot. doctor was really impressed with my weight loss. he suggested i cut calories from 2100 to 1900. and i have been doing that for almost a week now. doing quite well. weight continues to fall off.…

  • well, i switched from white bread to whole wheat bread and have had pretty decent results. down about 14 pounds since march. i do exercise too, cardio about 4 days a week and 2 days of weightlifting. give the low carb a try. but try switching from white bread to whole wheat and see what happens. it worked for me.
  • the sweat to me is a good sign. i know im working hard
  • i think so  all depends on how you feel about yourself etc. as long as your weight is within healthy limits, you should be fine
  • yeah i was a little confused about the "becomes to easy" comments.,my machine has several different workouts, and varying the resistance, hills, etc you never get bored. and im drenched in sweat at the end of the session.
  • great job i looked at your profile pic. :) wow you have lost alot! way to go
  • im serious. i cut out all white bread and lost weight.
  • it's a great machine. when i first started, 10 minutes nearly killed me. but now i can do 30-40 minutes easily. and i have my polar ft4 to make sure im working hard enough.
  • i think that is a perfect weight. also, i really don't agree with the height weight chart that doctor's use. im 5'5 and 217. the only area that shows my weight is my belly, rest of me is fine and pretty well defined.
  • go ahead and try the elliptical trainer. its low impact and is a great workout. when i first started (back in march) i could barely do 15 minutes. but over time it does get easier, and burns tons of calories. biking is good too. good luck
  • friend request sent. i only have to lose about 25 pounds. im working with personal trainer to build muscle :)
  • yes, she looks nice enough :)
  • make out. if she was only single :)
  • my diary is open now.
  • i was wondering the same thing. im eating most of my calories daily, however at end of day i end up with 300/500 leftover calories.
  • thanks everyone. i am just drinking one shake after each weight lifting session. mix with just plain water. i do weightlifting twice a week. yes, i realize there's nothing magical about it etc. but i have noticed at least since i started using it that my muscles don't stay sore as long. i get my protein from food like…
  • ive acutally been able to eat personal sized digornio pizza's and stay within my calorie range.
  • try the elliptical for your cardio workouts if you can. i love the workout and it doesn't hurt my joints at all :)
  • and physically, the only thing i'm not happy with is my stomach. i have the belly fat. but i do know that belly fat is the last thing to go. i have noticed that my arms and legs are more well defined, (losing fat). working with my personal trainer is helping too. i want to weighlift, and do weight training, but don't wanna…
  • thank you all! :) never thought i would get so many responses. ok. im 5'5 and 217lbs. the reason why i have cut ice cream and other stuff is because my triglyceride level last time it was checked in march was 247. however, my total cholesterol was 190. i currently take 2,000mg fish oil and 1,200 mg red yeast rice daily per…
  • i prefer walking. if you have a smart phone, download the app "runkeeper or mapmywalk". uses your phone's gps to calculate time and distance. i love it. don't rely on it for accurate calories burned though, get yourself a heart rate monitor (polar ft4) this will give you a accurate calorie burn. also, you can try the…
