best of luck. i was 242 pounds and now im down to 214 or so. yes, i didn't realize how much i was eating till i started using my fitness pal. my biggest thing was CARBS. potatoes, pasta, pizza etc. i cut those things and replaced with proteins like eggs and chicken breast. its filling and makes you feel full for longer…

yes, see a doctor as soon as possible. i did about 2 months of weekly physical therapy. he even did something called a "dry needle" long story short, he takes a very long needle, inserts it on the side of your buttocks where the pain is, and wiggles it back and forth until it forces the nerve to relax. it was the worst…

i would pick up a Polar heart rate monitor, i personally love my ft-4. ive had it since around may of 2014, and it's pretty accurate. tiggerluzlots, just while ago after work, i burned 504 in 33 mintues, with hills turned on a resistance on 10. the elliptical is amazing. i love it. my favorite piece of workout equipment.

:) just echoing the above post from csv1234. mine are actually amazon basics over the ear bluetooth wireless headphones. paid less than 20.00 for them and i love them. i had issues with earbuds popping out frequently when i was doing cardio, so i switched to the wireless. yes, the ear padding does get a bit sweaty, but no…

mine is a year and half old and still works great. replaced batteries in sensor and watch and replaced strap. overall, im very happy with mine.

i kept having issues with mine, then i replaced the chest strap and it works fine. the strap that came with my FT-4 lasted about a year.

formual comes out to 185
-
theres a test for that? i wasn't aware of that. im just going by the formula.

i figured it would just be a matter of time before fitbit got sued. now the price will probably go up 100.00 plus dollars on each activity tracker they sell. i use my polar ft4 with chest strap only when exercising and it works great for me. i would like to have a tracker just to see how many steps i take in a day.

some of the days, (mainly last weekend) was out of town visiting family, had to guess, the steak, eggs and bacon are cooked in a skillet using NO OIL. i am measuring ALL of my food.

ive used the polar Ft4 for almost a year now. i find that for me anywhere from 151-160 bpm is where i burn the most calories. i have used this for several workouts, gym with weights, and lots of cardio, elleptical and walking. never had a problem. lost 25 pounds or so. :) i love my ft4
-
i did the same, bought mine on amazon almost a year ago, and i love it! i have lost a total of 25 pounds using it. i plug in my calories burned into my fitness pal to regulate my calorie intake. :) i love my polar ft4!

lol this slow computer of mine probably had the decimal off when i was entering it. thanks for the correction all. still very tasty non the less LOL
-
well damn. i guess either i didn't enter it right or my calcuations are just wrong. i don;t know WHY IN THE H*LL my numbers are so different than yours.
-
ok something is up with the way i put this in. when i input in, it gives me one number when i save to my recipes, its gives me another number >:) GRRR. ok back to the drawing board. i love MFP. but hate the way some of this stuff is set up!
-
the heavy cream i used (great value) is 200 calories for 2 cups. :o
-
how do you get those numbers? i put it in as 1 cup servings
-
the post earlier with nothing is the vanilla base. just add what you like to make other flavors. my post above shows it :)
-
if you wanna do cake batter flavor just add one cup of dry cake mix to this for cookies and cream, add 15 oreos crushed up into the mix when its in the machine and churning. i usually add them about 5 to 10 mintues in. :) :)
-
give it a shot, jazmin220. :) ive never used anything else other than skim milk
-
well kelly ann, i dont even use a full cup just 3/4. :) :)
-
ok. 2 cups heavy whipping cream, 1/2 cup of sugar, 3/4 cup skim milk, 3 teaspoons vanilla extract. put all ingredients in blender. blend till smooth. chill 2-3 hours. take out of fridge. pour ingridents into ice cream maker. let churn 20-25 minutes. remove ice cream and freeze overnight. this makes it more like store…
