  • Abigail659 February Week 2 PW: 152.4 CW: 150.6 I finally held on to my loss! This hasn’t happened in over a month! This week a habit I want to focus on is not going back to sleep after I wake up in the mornings. I wake up early with my husband and usually go back to sleep once he and my boys are gone. I only get 30 mins of…
  • @Abigail659 February Week #1 PW: 152.2 CW: 152.4 Once again I was down before the weekend and jumped back up plus some this Monday morning. I’m going to give myself a little grace because sunday was the Super Bowl and it’s impossible to not over eat while your team is in the Super Bowl. Much less when your team loses 😔.…
  • Wohoo! My first challenge under my belt. Im still getting the hang of it. But looking forward to February’s challenge. Thanks Bonnie for being on top of things! Welcome Megan! We’re lucky to have you!
  • Wow, that does sound challenging. Great idea to focus on small changes that can be made. My goal is to focus on tracking more. I realize when I don’t track or lose focus on what I’m eating, I tend to over eat (even when I’m not hungry). Good luck! You Can do it!
  • I missed that offer... but just sent you a message. It's so nice of you to offer coaching!
  • @abigail0213 January Week 4 PW: 152.2 CW: 152.2 Apparently, I must be great at "maintenance mode". For the last 3 weeks I've been at exactly the same weight on weigh in day. Friday I was at 150ish and this morning it all came back. I was fighting allergies over the weekend and did not want to workout, but I did so anyways.…
  • Welcome back @craigo3154! Taking the holiday to just be is nice sometimes! Glad you had fun and had a chance to relax!
  • Anyone else lose right before the weekend then gain it back by Monday? My weigh in days are Mondays and I'm realizing that was a mistake... next time I'm choosing Friday! lol! I'm going to try really hard to hold on to this loss over the weekend... for accountability I'm at 150.8 (was 152.2 at the beginning of the week).
  • Sorry I’m late with my weigh in. Thought about it twice as I was running around and just didn’t do it. I will set a reminder on my phone so I don’t forget: Abigail659 January Week 3 PW: 152.2 CW: 152.2
  • abigail659 January Week 2 PW:152.8 CW: 152.6 I have gots to get my weekends on the right track. I slack off by not tracking and not drinking enough water. Down .2 is not what I wanted.... but I'll take it since it's not a gain. :)
  • I would get up earlier each day/become and early riser. I am not a morning person and snooze the alarm clock several times. I would like to become a morning person so I could get a workout in, get a balanced breakfast and start the day on a positive note vs rushing, with no time to plan breakfast or lunch.
  • Exercise? No, not today Calories under? Yes Tracked everything? Yes! I’m seeing improvements on my self control with regard to eating. My husband keeps tempting me with soda and I haven’t given in. I normally eat seconds just because I like the taste of food and not cause I’m actually hungry, but two nights in a row I…
  • 1. Did I exercise for atleast 20mins? Yes, Did an hour at orange theory 2. Did I stay under my calorie budget for the day? Yes, proud I kept on track today. 3. Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes, tracked everything!
  • 1. Did I exercise for atleast 20mins? Yes, I did a 30 min HIIT class during my lunch break 2. Did I stay under my calorie budget for the day? No, did great up until dinner. :( 3. Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes Today was a good day up until dinner. We had to run an unexpected errand and by that time we…

  • Hi All! This is my first challenge and I'm excited to join you guys this month! I've been on MFP since 2014 and was successful with losing about 25-lbs (had a goal weight for my 30th bday), but over the last 6 years (wow, can't believe it's been that long! :'( ) I've gained it all back. I want to make healthier choices,…
  • abigail659 Monday 154.2
  • I would like to join. Please add me. abigail659
  • 33 here! Anyone else have to calculate their age before posting?!? I did! I need some accountability partners. I've been quietly gaining weight back after losing 25lbs using MFP... I'm ready to get back to where I was. Add me if we can motivate and encourage each other!
  • Tips: 1 - get off herbalife (I know everyone said this already, but had to say it again to provide my position on it) 2- drink more water (gallon per day) 3- get rid of all junk food and "Bad" food in your house (chips, soda's, candy, cakes, fried foods). 4-go grocery shopping and only buy food that will nourish your body.…
  • Thanks for posting this! I'm in a similar position. There are a lot of good tips out there.... especially the no nagging and lead by example. I know the feeling of feeling like you should do more (my husband has diabetes and kidney problems and I feel like I should be doing more to motivate him), but like the saying…
  • I do the water only thing... it's been a couple of months now. Initially, I had to refuse and fight everything (morning coffee and soda's at dinner), but eventually it became a habit. Now, if I attempt to drink anything other than water, I think it taste gross and feel sick. I do drink milk every now and then, but no…
  • Fish tacos for sure... I use the george forman and put lemon pepper seasoning. I cook enough to allow the edges to get crispy and then just put them in a warmed up corn tortilla with mozzarella. Yum, now I'm hungry for talapia at 8:24 in the morning!
  • Yes, I can go to the gym to use the power cage. At this point, I'm willing to do whatever is necessary and will need to get out of my comfort zone to make it work. At home, I can use my husband to spot me.
  • Thanks for the confirmation. I love your example of lifting T, Th, Sat. I will use this schedule. Now, if only I can find a routine. Yes, if I had video and resources I would totally try it on my own. Do you have any reccomendations? I recently bought a cheap weight bench off craigslist. It's a basic bench with a 3lb bar…
  • Yes. I wish someone would have told me this when I first started my journey. Unfortunately, I thought that getting close to my goal weight that I would look like the photoshopped models on TV and in the magazines. Unfortunately, with 20+ pounds lost, I didn't look like that and it's a hard pill to swallow when you have…
  • I'm having a hard time determining my goals, because I'm not sure which would get me the results I'm looking for. To be completely honest, I want a muscular body that will allow me to rock a bikini. If that means building muscle or losing weight, I'm all in. I'm currently doing 15 mins cardio warmup, 1 min regular plank, 1…
  • WoW! Thank you for posting this. It's just want I need to hear (that I am not alone). I lost 24lbs and expected to look like a victoria secret model and that's just not the case. I would say I'm normally pretty level headed and normal, but since my weight loss, I've been depressed with a major lack of confidence. I know I…
  • Hello There! I consider myself a newbie, although I've been on MFP for almost a year now. I've lost around 24lbs and haven't been completely satisfied with my results. (I’m 30 yrs old, 5’4, CW: 132, SW: 156.) My weight loss was mainly eating at a deficit and being slightly more active. I'm beginning to realize I may need…
