Anyone on this thread is welcome to add me as well. I'm relatively new to MFP - been here about a month. Currently very committed, but I've been down this road plenty of times and would really like to make the change permanent. I want to be healthy and strong, not tired and miserable! You only live once! Let's make it…

WOW!!! I'm not ready to post pix, but these results are inspiring!! You all look phenomenal. I hope to reply to this thread again with pictures before the end of the year. New goal!! :-)

Awesome interval run on the treadmill. Jelly legs!

SUPER INSPIRING!!!!! Thanks for reminding me that it's a marathon, not a sprint. Congratulations!!!!!

BUMP! have never tried/cooked spaghetti squash. I'm inspired!

OMG, that's awesome!!!!! You are amazing! As for me, I'm one month into MFP. - Weight-loss is slow but steady. - I'm really excited about maintaining a consistent and increased exercise routine - in the mornings before work! Something I never thought I was capable of doing. - My stress level is way down, and I feel like…

This is the point exactly, and the exact reason why so many of us find ourselves "going through this AGAIN." Don't give up. Don't give up. Don't give up.

Think I might not make my running goal, even though it was low, but I'm doing three other days of strength and interval training, plus two other days of yoga. My 12-year old daughter has started getting up with me in the morning for a low-mile run and that's really important to both of us, so I'm happy! :-) Added 2.5 today.

Bump! Have never cooked (or maybe even eaten?) salmon before, but I'd like to give it a try. Thank you all for sharing! If anyone has tips for actually purchasing salmon, I'd love to hear those as well. Thanks!

Congratulations on your success! Very inspiring pictures!

You ARE getting there, even if - yes - it's only one measly pound at a time. EVERY pound (every HALF pound!) counts, and don't forget to take into account all those NSV's: more energy to play with your kids/dog/friends, an easier time climbing stairs, one less chin, and less arm jiggle staring back at you in the side-view…

Good thread! I did my first half last spring, but never planned to run it in it's entirety, because I'm not much for running past about 6 miles at a time. Also, we only gave ourselves 8 weeks to get ready, so I knew all along that I would walk every few minutes or so. Nonetheless, it gave me the motivation to try again…

Oh my... falling behind! Need to up the miles! 2 more in this morning, with my little girl, so that was fun. :-)

Spinach is a great addition to casseroles. As a matter of fact, I need to pick some up today to add to tonight's dinner! :-)

Awesome advice and support. Love it! Good luck, russquatch! (I hope that's the right user name? Can't see original post.) Congratulations on getting started and making this life-enhancing decision! Remember to come to the Community boards whenever you are having that overwhelmed feeling.

About 3 weeks ago, around the time I joined MFP, I started walking up the 6 flights of stairs to my office. Every day. (Sometimes twice!)... instead of taking the elevator as I have - every day - for the past four years. And finally, in the past day or so, it's started to feel a little easier! And as of this morning, I've…

I love this post. You've put all the reasons it's worth it to put the time and effort into being healthy down in one paragraph. Plus you show gratitude for your strength. <3 Way to go!

Now, YOU are what I call a "Success Story." Amazing! Congratulations on reaping the benefits of all your days of hard work. :-) God bless you!

Added half mile today. Still so far behind but gotta keep on movin'! :-)

Hello TAGSSKEE1! I am a yo-yo dieter, too, but I haven't really thought about what my triggers are. Thank you for your post, because it's got me thinking that identifying those triggers would probably by very helpful in ending this crazy cycle. I've spent a lot of my adult life gaining and then losing and then gaining back…

That's awesome!

That's amazing and inspiring! You should be so proud and I bet you are helping many of us with your brave post. (Definitely helping me, but I don't want to speak for everyone.) Congratulations!

2 more down, for a total of 6 so far. Time to start increasing distance...
-
Bump. (Interesting!)

This is a really good thread. Sounds like all of us can relate (married mom of two here, work full-time, commute two-hours a day, sit on my butt most of that work day, and in grad school), and yet everyone's story is reminding me that WE ARE AWESOME AND WE CAN DO IT. Thank you!!!!

Not new to running, but have never logged huge miles. I am new to MFP, however, and this is my first challenge. I'm going to start low, with 35 miles for July. Good luck, everyone!

Wow that's awesome! Congrats! This morning was my first day doing 30DS. Did you do only Level 1 for those 8 days or did you advance? I'm not sure how soon I should move up a level. Thanks!

Holy mackerel! Amazing transformation. Congrats on the success gained through hard work!
