  • Yes, I eat out quite alot. I have been working on lowering my sodium intake so I have been strategically trying different places to see what fits the best. Zoup, Panera, Bob Evans, and Mexican are usually on the weekly list.
  • You can shake those ten pounds!! They definitely build strong boned Hoosiers in our state!! Meat, potato, vegetable..that is how a meal is suppose to be and do not forget dessert!! Gotta clean your plate so you can have some dessert. LOL...childhood memories.... My poor child will not be able to relate....I offer her…
  • Great Job, Everyone!! You all look amazing and much younger. My husband has lost 85lbs and refuses to post pictures - Way to inspire!! For the question - why post for men only? - Men need inspiration to set goals and hit their accomplishments!! America is obese and we all can change that by inspiring each other to become…
  • YES! You can lose weight and not actually move your legs. Depending on your height, reduce your calories to the minimum, lower the percentage of carbs, and then when you do arm cardio etc., you can eat some of those calories back. Once you are back up and mobile you can concentrate on your legs to get them shaped up.
  • Great Job!! Keep pushing forward and you will succeed. Do not let anything on anyone hold you back. Reach for the stars!!
  • Well....I am not thin...BUT - ALL my thin friends eat me under the table, so, YEP, you can be thin and not starve. I think everyone needs to understand and recognize the signs of being hungry versus needing hydration - both can send hunger pain signals.
  • My goals are at every 50lbs. First 50, I had a party at my house (invited my girlfriends, we had drinks and a healthy mashtini bar). The next 50lbs gone, my hubby and I took a weekend trip and I was lazy all weekend. When the next 50 are gone - we are taking a BIG trip and when the final mark is hit - A WHOLE NEW wardrobe…
  • Great Job!! I am 40 days out from my one year and have dropped 104lbs to date!! Keep moving forward and you will do great. My motto - Eat to Live NOT Live to Eat!!

Fat Free Maple Grove Dressing Also - shred some of the chicken breast and have with brown rice a couple of nights…
  • I considered weight loss surgery. There is a group on facebook and everyone on there has had or will be having some sort of surgery. I followed them for three months, read their posts with all the ups and downs, their diets etc. I then took what I had learned and googled some of their "pouch" recipes to see if I could make…
  • I started at 362 and as of yesterday I weighed in at 258. I am heading for 160 so I still have a ways to go. It took me 10.5 months to get the first 100 off and there is no turning back. I am FIERCE!!!
  • Great Job Everyone!! While I still have about 70lbs to go, my neck is now 14.25 inches....along way from where I started.
  • I eat a morning, afternoon, and evening snack. Snacks are under 100 calories unless I am really low on calories then evening snack may be a little more. Morning snack - 4-7 almonds, bottle of water or 1/2 of a container(abt 3oz) of keylime greek yogurt with a couple of almonds or banana and peanut butter Afternoon snack -…
  • I have found I love Salads!! My favorite is - Spring Mix, Cranberries, Almonds, Feta Cheese or Gorgonzola Cheese, grilled chicken with Marzetti Raspberry Vin. dressing. • Your protein needs to come up to 35% minimum, less cardio, and your Dr. is correct. No more weight loss - it is time to add muscle and tone. BMI - PUKE - do not follow this - EVERYONE is different and I am not sure why all these calculators can take that into effect when each person puts in their numbers. If you add more…
  • What a GREAT feeling!!
  • Good Job Julia! I live in Evansville and I have lost 95lbs. I love MFP.
  • Great Job!! I know how much time, effort, determination, and hardwork it takes to make the changes in your life. I still look in the mirror and see the 362lb person even though I have lost lots. Keep moving forward or downward!!! Eat to Live NOT Live to Eat!!
  • I have lost 95lbs to date. Best advice - lose slowly and HYDRATE your skin. It has taken me ten months to lose 95lbs. I still have 110 to go to meet my total goal so I will have skin at that time (obese my entire life) but to date my neck is great, no more three chins, my arms look good (little flab but strength and water…
  • My face has changed drastically. My profile pic - right side is June 2011 and left side is May 2012. I have not updated for Aug 2012 but my neck is now 14 inches which is half the size it was in June 2011. Yay for lifestyle changes!!
  • MFP opened my eyes!! In Oct 2011 I faithfully started using my MFP daily. In June 2011 I weighed 362lbs. I now weigh 270lbs and still heading south. I never had a clue what the calorie content was in the food I put into my system. I did not understand how the carbs, protein, & fats, were processed in the food I ate and…
  • Sorry - I can not help as I no longer eat cereal. If I did eat cereal it would be Multigrain Cheerios in unsweetened almond milk with half a banana, strawberries, or blueberries.

  • Great Job!! Hard work, determination, and results are awesome. It looks like you had a blast on vacation and it was well deserved!
  • Also - use a library if you have one. They loan workout videos for 21 days at a time. This will help you switch things up with exercise.
  • Stinkin scales!! They really are not our friends. Hard work, determination, dedication, and making lifestyle changes will kick those scales butts!

I then put it on taters, eggs white omelets, salads, etc. Same kind of chicken…
