I eat it plain, use it as dressing on my salad sometimes, eat it with fruit or tomatoes. I cook with it also. I love cottage cheese!!

2011 Ford Edge - Her name is Eddie. Love her and she travels well. I plan on keeping her until she has zero life left. Dislike - she is bad luck. I purchased her with 9 miles on her one year ago. Since then a hail storm took her out and cost $16K to repair(thank goodness for insurance), my hub bumped someone so I had to…

I have lost 90 lbs and have 90 lbs more to go. I am losing it slowly, drinking loads of water, and moisturizing and so far so good. My arms and legs are great. My stomach - we will have to wait and see. I have been obese most of my life so I know I will have flab at my belly left when I am done but I do not plan on a TT…

Sorry - I have never tried a weight loss suppliment.

Sounds Yummy!

I started it last month but by the third day I could barely move. I have since lost another 15lbs so I will be starting it this weekend. I plan on doing two days of shred at home with cardio completed at gym, one day of cardio at gym, one day off and repeat so...30 days will be a little longer but I have lots of weight to…

You look great, I am sure you feel great, and keep up the hard work. Our life Journey is never easy but always worth it. Eat to Live and Not Live to Eat is my motto!!

Water, Unsweet Tea, or Diet Pepsi but normally I am not out past 10pm. I can not hang with my friends who party all night anymore. I need my eight hours of sleep or as close as I can get to 8 hrs.

In Oct 2011 is when I got really focused on changing my lifestyle. I have lost 89 pounds to date with 100 more to lose. I am now down to 1100 Calories a day and then depending on how hard I exercise what I eat back. I allow myself one day a week where I am not so strict. I live a normal life, still eating everything I did…

I started it over a month ago but had to stop after the third day - I could not move and I had been hitting the gym five days a week for the last six months. I have since addressed some strength issues and dropped another 15 lbs so this week I am going to restart and not stop until I am finished. I will try to get before…

This may not be your answer BUT - seven months ago I read a book about how the food is prepared from start to finish at several fast food chains. (from the cow or machine all the way to the store) It was a Eat this Not that Book - NOW I can not comprehend why I ever thought McDonald's was any good or Why I loved skittles.…

I lost 50 pounds before I purchased a new item...lol I know I am very cheap.... If you feel the need then I would suggest thrift stores or yard sales but as long as what you are doing is working then you could just hang on for another month or two and save for those winter purchases.

Try adding 6 almonds to your snack with fruit. It helps me.

I have lost over 68 Pounds under 1200 Calories. I do eat my exercise calories back at times. I did however, change my goals for carbs, fats, & proteins. MFP has carbs set to high for me.

Slow and Steady and you will succeed. I am 36 and started on my journey last October. I have lost 83 pounds and still hve about 120 to go. A few tidbits..... Eat to Live NOT Live to Eat It is a Lifestyle NOT a diet. MFP is a great tool, exercising, counting calories, etc. will help. I had to learn how to make carbs, fats,…

I weigh once a week for tracking purposes. I occasionally will get on the scale at the end of a day to see where I stand with food vs weighing early in the mornings. I also weigh daily during my hormonal week because it is interesting how much water I retain during this time.

I am a YAY!! I need to excercise to help reduce my stress level. You do not need to hit a gym to excercise and I agree with a previous comment - your friend is obsessed - probably addicted. I have friends also whom are addicted to the gym. Lifting your drink in a glass from the table to your mouth is exercising...so you…

Weight Loss should not cost anyone anything. WW, Nutrisystem, etc., are all not a lifestyle habit. I understand each person is different but with the web, library, and tons of information at our fingertips, each individual CAN lose weight without paying to be a member of anything. I have friends who did WW, nutrisystem,…

I do not believe in suppliments, however I do love protein shakes. I make shakes with Big Train (casein protein not whey) because I use the shake as a meal suppliment. I pay $50 a month for a container and I eat a breakfast shake every morning and about 10+ other meals with it. The cost is about $1.25 a meal for me...not…

Each obese person has their own reason for being obese. Yes, there are triggers that have influenced obese Americans that come from all different directions but at the end of the day there is no blame to be given out to anyone other than the obese person. I have been obese my entire life and I know this to be so. I am…

I have not started over. It does not matter what I eat, do not eat, or should not have ate; I keep moving forward. Losing weight is a lifestyle and not a diet. No one person is perfect therefore my food consumption is not ever going to be perfect. I started my journey in Oct 2011 with a goal to lose my first 100 pounds by…

I wondered the same thing. I was told to drink lots of water, lose slowly, and add strengthening into my cardio and it would help. I have lost 81 pounds and so far so good. I still have 100 pounds to go and I know I will have some excess skin because I have been obese most of my life. I have had a couple of friends who…

We Can Do This!!! It is a lifestyle not a diet.

I can help on this one - did you let MFP set your goals for you or did you set them? If you are at 1200 Calories then you need to adjust your carbs, fat, & protein. Depending on your height ( I will assume you are 5'3-5'6) you need to change carbs to 30%, fat to 30%, and protein to 40%. During my cycle week, I never show a…

I started the 30 day shred last week - I lost four pounds; however, I also added cardio every other day last week. I did not do the shred everyday. I did three days of it and took a day off. So six days of shred and five days of cardio = 4 pound loss. The 20 mins with Jillian on the first day was rough, the second day I…

10lbs in one week? It is not healthy, but it can be done. The next week you will probably gain about three of it back but if you are aware then you can still keep moving forward. I lost nine pounds my first week of MFP. I am 5 foot 5 inches - lowest calorie intake daily for me is 940. I did this for one week with my…

Clothes purchasing & the extra skin - I have been obese my entire life so as I shed these pounds my skin is only pulling in so much. I will never be a beauty queen, but I will take being a healthy queen!!

I just purchased one at JC Penney for $25. I do not know the brand, but it works great. It is grey/black & glass. The only downfall is it does not have a backlight on the digital display. Previously we purchased one at Target (BAD IDEA), a month later it went to the trash.

My family eats out every weekend. We hit the gym every Saturday morning and complete (what we call dirty cardio) so we are not limited in calories. Just remember if you intake more calories than you burn your body will retain them in a bad way. Sundays are easier BUT if it is a heavy day out for you - then make your food…

Welcome! Both my husband and I joined MFP together. He also has the issue if it is front of him he will continue. It has taken about 6 mos and many changes but his brain now registers when he is full which has helped with his weight loss. You both can be successful - just remember, it is a lifestyle change; NOT A DIET.…
