I'm on week 5 and have lost 21 lbs. This is the most successful I have been at weight loss. I feel great. Some of us need a more regimented diet to get to where we need to be healthy. I have 41 more lbs to go and for the first time in my adult life I know I will achieve my goal. I've been doing small cheats lately and need…

Height: 5'7" Age/Gender: 31 Female Highest weight- 235 lbs (right before I had each of my babies I got to this weight both times) Current Weight- 209 lbs Current body fat - IDK - good question, wouldn't be surprised if I was in the 30 - 40%! Lowest weight- 182 in my mid 20's when I did WW (lower 150s when I was in…

Taken on 3/17/13.

In house auto claims adjuster. Specifically I work injury claims where the claimants are represented by attorneys. I'm also a wife and mom - don't get paid for these but they take up the rest of my free time.

I have an almost 3 year old (in a month), a 4 mo old and I work full-time outside of the house. On days I work out I get up at 4:50 AM. I run for 30 min or do resistance exercises. (I'm slowly working up to M-F). On days I don't work out I get up between 5:20 AM - 6 AM (depending on if I take a shower or not). 6AM - 6:40…

Probably saying what's already been said - but you are putting your body in starvation mode when you eat so few calories so it's refusing to lose weight. Honestly most people need to eat more than 1200 to lose weight (generally a woman can get away with 1400 - 1600 and still lose 1/2 - 1 lb a week). I would try eating in…

So I was 50 lbs over weight when I got pregnant with kidlet #1. I gained an additional 40 lbs. I only lost 20 lbs before I got pregnant when she was 19 mo old. I can't say I tried SUPER hard to lose wight, but I didn't feel breast feeding gave me any extra boon. I am a sugar addict though so that doesn't help the…

Can totally see a difference! Congratulatios, keep up to the good work!

Bump - sounds good!

Depending on how old your baby is you should eat anywhere from 250 - 500 extra calroies a day. I exclusively breast feed a 3 1/2 mo old so I eat 500 extra and when I stick to my goals lose 1 - 2 lbs a week. Also the more protien the better and the more water the better.

My son just cut his first tooth at 3 1/2 months. He's been comping on his hands and drooling like a mad man for about a month now. We have an amber/hazelwood necklace for him that he wears during the day. I also gave him infant tylenol last night. In general he's been in a great mood overall aside from wanting to be held…

Target brand is the best IMO and very reasonable. They fit my daughter and my son without any issues. More you buy, more you save. I also use their wipes and buy in bulk.

Not weigth gain but excessive gas this time around. So bad I had to stop them after 3 days.

That's a great time for your first 5k!!

Awesome!

Yay! Running is awesome.

Well I had a friend who had a c-section with her first and no issues. She had a succesful VBAC with her second and her daugther will be 1 next month and she said she still has issues. She did push with her first but he got stuck so she ended up with the c-section. I think time of pushing definitely has something to do with…

I actually had physical therapy for it after my daughter's birth - it was really bad, but eventually got better. I am 3 mo PP with my son and I still wear a panty liner most days. It's not usually an issue and I feel like I healed a lot quicker this time around. I've had two natural, vaginal births. I pushed for 1 1/2…

Food before 1, just for fun. I introduced finger foods starting around 7 mo and gave her a sampling of most everything we ate - even if she just gummed it. She was also getting a sippy cup for practice by the time she could sit up (usually a small amount of water). Then got rid of the bottle around 11 mo. Baby cereals are…

Check out no cry sleep solution. I don't believe in CIO - a 6 mo old is not going to understand that you are leaving her alone in a room to cry because she needs to sleep. It's just going to freak her out and make her feel sad, scared, abandoned, etc (and make you feel like crap too listening to your baby scream for you).…

My daughter will be 3 in April and my son just turned 3 months on Tuesday. We are done. While I was blessed with two pretty quick natural births the pregnancy this last time was hard on me (coupled with working full-time and taking care of a toddler and house). Also the cost of daycare for two is just about as much as we…

It will likely affect your supply if it hasn't yet if you continue to eat like that. You should try to net around 1800 cal. I have my goals set at losing 1 lb a week which gives me 1650 base. I then add in 500 calories as a food for nursing since my son is 3 mo and only gets breast milk. That puts me at 2100 calories/day.…

Why do you want to wean? The World Health Organization states that babies should be nursed until they are at least 2 if not longer. Most children will self wean anywhere from 2 - 4 years of age. Having said that I did wean my daughter when she was 17 1/2 months old. We wanted to TTC baby #2. DH and I went to Germany for 2…

You and I are about the same right now. My son was born 11/12/12 and I was 235 when I gave birth now I'm down to 204, my GW is 145. I work full-time and pump while I am away and nurse when DS and I are together. Yay for breastfeeding! I have MFP set to lose 1 lb/week and then I add in 500 cal for breastfeeding. I eat about…
