Yes, I used to get very grumpy dieting. Now I am just eating less and burning more. It's a normal way of eating and living. And it's working. I DO NOT DIET.

Here here! I agree and am living proof. Sometimes I have a meal at midnight if I want and am under my daily number. It has not affected me at all. Just remember, burn more than you eat!

For an informed opinion on the problem, you need to open your diary, then we can know what is going on. Be honest and log every little thing you consume, even coffee and soda drinks. There is no real reason why after three months you have only lost 6 lbs. You have to do your numbers and follow them to the tee. Search the…

Add me if you like. I am very active here and keep up with my friends. I have had some great success and learned a lot in two months. Let's do this thing!!

FULL OF HOT AIR!

The biggest struggle is having to pee so much. I have always loved ice cold water, but at times I have to remember to imbibe. It is the lubrication that facilitates our digestion and weight loss. It is a rinse for our insides. Suck it up and drink that H2O.

And old children, too!

Thanks so much for the response, I understand now. I truly meant no offense. It's just hard to get into my fat head, me at 369 lbs how that is a problem. We bigger folk tend to think like that, but actually your determined persistence is what keeps you from becoming like me. I applaud you and keep trying!

Not to be insensitive, but 136, is that a problem? How much more do you want to lose? I understand this could be a callous question, but I truly am curious and trying to understand. I myself think you are torturing yourself eating 800-1000 calories. At 136? Please don't take me wrong, I understand your dedication and…

Ummm, Free Willy, Shamu, George Clooney (if he was fat)

I got it Leon, and we all need a sense of humor. In the spirit of the OP, your joke was funny and brightened my day.

I bet you'd never say that to the before guy.

I agree with the eat whatever you want mindset, after all, I am doing it. However, you must incorporate healthy choices IMO at least 75% of the time. I mean cereals, whole wheats, limit red meats, fruits, veggies, etc. This is a balanced diet. You may indulge in a cheeseburger, and later have a sensible and healthy salad…

You do whatever it takes and works for you. Some of this is trial and error. You will learn lots of tricks as you go along. Good luck.

Dude, eat more! At 18 technically you are still growing. You need more nutrition to fuel the machine.
-
Nathan, you can do it. You don't want to die young. I am brutally honest, you are on your way if you don't change. I too was having the chest pains, from over eating, and the wrong foods. I have lost 26 lbs and feel fabulous. Add me as a friend if you like and we can regain our lives!!

25 is too old to look good? Wow, news to me. Maybe 55, where I am close to. Actually, I do want to look good, or at least better. In clothes, swimming, etc. but more importantly, to feel better, which is slowly happening to me. Add me as a friend if you like, I love to post, debate, motivate, and am very serious about this…

I understand the problem, to a point. Your man is happy, be elated!! What do you care what a bunch of us bone head guys think? lol. I have personally always liked a bit of a roll on the tummy. Some pudge. If you want a general opinion of what guys think, it has nothing to do with a little belly roll, trust me.

Great response! If those pills worked, everyone would be in line for them. If that fad diet worked, everyone would eat it. There is no easy way out, not even surgery is a quick fix. It's all work and effort, but rewarding when you finally apply yourself. I know, I have been through the wringer with it all. Pills are a new…

Hello Glasgow, how fascinating. I have always wanted to see your country. You don't hear of too many bikini bodies in Scotland. More power to you and good luck in your journey and holiday.

Hello, if the calories aren't totally correct, they are close, and you can add and edited version. I find the diary really helps a lot and keeps me in line. Everything on here is somewhat of a guide, even exercise. It is just amazing I am moving like I am now. I have grown fairly attuned to my body and eating habits and…

Ahhhh, peanut butter is my salvation. If it's all I have, I am satisfied (in a sweets kind of way)

I'm with this guy. I will live with it if I have it, better than weighing 400. I know it is not as much of a concern for men, but still.

I never feel like giving up!! Period. I give in, at times, but the beauty of it is I can make up for that like nothing. I am loving this life now.

Well, the weight loss does mean something since fat is 95% water! The losses will taper off in time, and stop at times as you adjust. But as you level out you will lose, just smaller amounts. Some weeks I lose half a pound, and recently I lost 4.6 in 10 days. Do not starve yourself for results, as this will bring losing to…

Take the calorie burn with a grain of salt on here. Use other calculators or get a portable monitor. Average it out. If MFP says you burned 400 by walking for an hour, put it as 300, always lower. Better to err on the side of caution. Opinions vary on eating your burns. They are yours, earned, so do what you like. I like…

I'm not a sista, lol, but I can be a motivation brother, haha. Feel free to add me because I like to motivate, post, and keep up with my friends, because I take this very seriously
