Ok, so since I am trying to lose quite a bit of fat as well, I shouldn't expect to see much in the way of muscle growth it sounds like. Focus on cutting now and the rest will come later.

Nerd Fitness has a great body weight exercise regimen you can do at home. I think its their Angry Birds workout.

Once a day, preferably right after waking up, use hot water and cleanse vigorously. I prefer Irish Spring.

I've been making mashed potatoes with the Laughing Cow Garlic and Herb light cheeses instead of butter/salt/cream and it has been a big hit. 4 wedges per batch of potatoes (8 or so small potatoes) and it only adds 140 calories and a ton of flavor.

Calories in, Calories out. Start there. Baby step your way to the complicated stuff, break it down to manageable pieces and add what you can to your life. Changing too much at once will be discouraging and frustrating.

Being from Detroit, I've never had an attachment to football but if I had to pick one, I'd say the Vikings, just because I like Chris Kluwe's book and he's pretty awesome.

Making better choices, we are doing thanksgiving at my fiancee's sisters house, and she is very health conscious so we will be doing a lot of lighter and lower calorie meals. Plus I'll have my kids with me so I can keep myself busy running around with them.

My loss averages between 2-5 pounds a week. I eat about 2500-3000 calories a day and work out 5x a week. I have gone up and down a bit as I have fallen off and restarted, but since Nov of 2010 I have lost 127 pounds as of today. I still have about 175 to go, so I am nowhere near done, but my results are also unique to…

6'8" here and fat. My highest was 602 back in 2010. and yes, it was a huge wake up call for me since I never truly believed I was that big since I do have a very large frame, broad shoulders and at one time, did have quite a few muscles on that frame,

Everyone is a weight loss expert. My soon to be Father in Law went on a tirade to my fiancee about how her using ketchup is what is sabotaging her weight loss and I will casually ask her how much she has lost while still enjoying her ketchup and that usually shuts him up. I listen to 2 people. My doctor, and my trainer.…

I think your goal was pretty aggressive. I can lose that much but I also have almost 200 lbs to lose. Shoot for 2 pounds a week, that is a lot more realistic at your size.

Started at 602, still have 175 or more left to goal, feel free to add me!

Love them, my fiancee has a bunch, it's pretty awesome :)

New laptops are so cheap now there's no reason to buy a refurb. Look into Acer or Asus.

Had it, hated it, rolled back to 7. It was a free upgrade with my gaming laptop. (Quad core i7, 16GB RAM)

Losing my dad at 59 to a massive heart attack, and his not being there for my kids. Wanting a long healthy life with my soon to be bride and my 2 wonderful children. Wanting to be the "fun dad" again who can go outside and play with them instead of watching them run and have fun.

Honestly I haven't had a pop in almost 2 months but being the "uneducated Yankee" in the south, I always choose pepsi. All stems from growing up in Detroit and Coke was non-union and not allowed in the house. I propose a 3rd choice, Vernors. :)

This. I go in for one thing and leave with like 10 games.

I do strength training 3 days a week with a cardio warmup (About 10-15 minutes) and a cardio chaser, usually about 30 minutes, and the other 2 days I do straight cardio for an hour. My loss has been averaging about 3-5 pounds a week but I know I am not typical due to my size.

My best friend has MS and he walks his neighborhood every day to keep himself in shape. He is a huge inspiration to me, since he came really close to being in a wheelchair not too long ago and is back on his feet in a big way, Keep moving. It will only get easier.

Trust issues. I have female friends I talk to every day and my fiancee has male friends she talks to and hangs out with all the time. I am amazingly secure in my relationship and like she has no reason to think I would step out on her, I have no reason to distrust her around her male friends. She's a big girl and knows how…

Hey folks, Lenny here. old school gamer but I still keep up. :) 40 years old outside of Atlanta, mostly playing Borderlands 2 on Steam now, but looking forward to Deadpool, GTA and some others. Biggest genre I am a fan of is JRPG's and old school shooters like Descent Freespace and Project Sylpheed. XBL Gamertag is…

6'8" trying to get down to 300 here. Feel free to add me.

$40 a month for base membership for myself and my fiancee and I pay $300 a month for 12 personal training sessions.

I got rid of them. I was holding on to clothes that were WAY too big for me as a safety net. Once I got back on track, the first thing I did was go through everything with my Fiancee and we ditched what she affectionately referred to as my "Hobo Rodeo Clown Pants" as well as some others.

Cardio 1hr 2x a week and strength training for 30min 3x a week with a 30 min cardio chaser. I work with a personal trainer so my strength training workouts are different each time, but there is always a Upper Body, Lower Body and a Back/Core day.

I usually pack a few snacks for work, some light string cheese, a greek yogurt, a couple bananas and maybe a sugar free jello pudding cup. that coupled with my lunch keeps me pretty satisfied and I also drink a LOT of water at my desk so I am usually feeling pretty full.

FYI: I am supervised by my doctor and trainer, they keep a pretty close eye on my food, which is why I log EVERYTHING. The trainer got me on the protein bars and shakes to up my protein without adding a lot of extra calories. The desired effect is that this will aid muscle growth. My average seems to be netting around 2000…
