Ok, that gave me a TDEE of 4660 using the "Moderately Active" since I am working out 5x a week and a BMR of 3000.

I can't do it. Cheat meal becomes cheat day, which then turns into cheat week, which usually caps itself off with Apathy Day, Self Loathing Day, and finally, Getting my head out of my a** Day, which usually comes a week or 2 later after I have undone all my work and then starting over. My fiancee can do it, but once I let…

Nothing bad to say about crossfit, I did it for about 6 months but even as much as they scaled it for me, I was just too far gone to really do a lot of it. Managed some PR's like 375 on a deadlift and 185 on power cleans. I was also still pushing 500lbs when I was there and want to go back when I am closer to my goals to…

I will defer to Penn and Teller on this one,. Chiropractic is quackery at its worst, at best its someone who knows how to give a somewhat decent adjustment,. Science trumps whatever new-agey crystal tree hugging ideas you may have about how your body works and how you can get healthy by putting pads on your feet at night…

One of my favorites is a turkey wrap on a low cal spinach wrap, bolthouse farms honey mustard dressing, some light swiss cheese and a couple lettuce leaves.

My usual snacks are things like light string cheese, small packs of nuts, sugar free jello or pudding cups, greek yogurts, bananas, and sometimes the special k cereal bars.

If Law and Order has taught me anything being a runner just means you're the one most likely to find a body.

Right there with you man, 100+ down, 180+ to go. Feel free to add me.

Nice, I would sub some of the canned veg for fresh, but it definitely sounds tasty,

Yep, I was doing straight cardio for a few weeks but I started with a trainer this week to round out my fitness goals and I am hurting. Walking up and down stairs is an exercise in pain, and my arms and shoulders are on fire, but I will not give up!

It happens, I gained close to 100 back from my lowest when I stopped going to the gym. I am on my way back down with about 180 left to go.

Sarah Chalke and Cobie Smulders. I guess I have a thing for canadian girls.

I like the *idea* behind paleo. Eat clean, no processed foods, but you can take a lot of those ideas and just work them into your macros. I dont like giving up dairy, but I just cut down on it. Mind you, I am at like 3k calories a day, so a LOT fits into my macros, That being said, I still do some processed stuff, and…

I can deadlift a sloth bear (pr was 375 I believe) and maybe power clean a black bear, my 1RM was 185 on a clean but that was a while back.

When I am working at the office and pack my lunch, I will sit down in the morning and pre-log everything I brought in and even if I have dinner in mind I will log that as well, It's easier in my mind to go back and change things as needed. Only thing I don't pre-log is exercise,

Re-reading Lamb again. Still amused how my amazingly catholic mother turned me on to this book.

Front row of a GWAR concert on halloween night in Detroit.

I used to, but that lead to cheat weeks, then months, then I gained 80 pounds back. no bueno. I have to be very strict with myself so I can't allow myself any "free for all" meals or days.

When I hit 600 I thought the same thing, I need surgery, but I was able to take off 120 pounds without it since 2011, and still going strong.. You can do this. I have 180 left to go, so you're not alone in your quest. :)

300-325 is about where I look my best depending on the amount of muscle, so, thats where I'm shooting for.

No diabetes, doc also says this is a very normal side effect and not to worry unless I start having dizziness issues consistent with low blood sugar, etc. He didn't seem concerned about the low calories but I am a little worried is all.

I make more, but my fiancee handles all the shared expense calculation. Every couple weeks I get a post-it note on my monitor in my home office that lets me know what my half of the shared expenses are and we each cover our own things like auto insurance, etc. I log into my bank, transfer funds to the joint household…

I started at 602 pounds so here is my best advice aside from eat less. Walk. It was the one primary activity that got me down to 520 in about a year without ever touching a gym. I would leave my car at home, walk to the bus stop, the train stations, the wal-mart down the road, everywhere. Yes, I sweat a lot, and it sucked,…

Never worried once someone would mock me at the gym. Motivation was tough but I made myself do it. I'm still obese but I go to the gym, I do my workouts and if someone wants to make fun of me, f' em. At least I'm doing something about my health, no amount of weights can fix them being an a**hole. :)

Part of it was going from an active lifestyle to a desk job. Being a bouncer sucked financially, but I was a lot more active. I was right about where I needed to be. 300-320lbs on my 6'8" frame. Then I got lazy, and stopped working out, and ate more, lather, rinse, repeat. By 2006 I was about 490lbs and was miserable. Then…

Mine is from my line of work. I am a network engineer, designing and building large scale WANs, etc. We use a lot of routers, so there's the first half. The 2nd came from my old AOL Business card when I was there working on the backbone data network, I noticed some guys had "Network Geek" etc as their title, so I put…
