I just track mine as generic strength training since we do a pretty intense mix of lifting and cardio.

About 30-40 after dinner I have a 2 scoop casein shake mixed with lots of water. The casein powder is thicker and it helps me feel more full until bedtime and helps me to prevent snacking.

I pre-log as much as I can since I do have some set items, like my shakes after workout and after dinner, and if I know what I am making for lunch/dinner I will pre-log then adjust with actual weights as needed.

Even at my goal weight because of my frame size I will still be obese by BMI standards. I call total BS.

That's where I am now, I'm not sure I'm building any muscle, but there are the "Hey, I have a bicep again!" moments which are probably just the fact that I have uncovered the fat-laden muscle. :)

The way my trainer usually does it is I will have one very heavy set, then he will drop the weight, do it again, drop the weight, do it one more time, or until exhaustion. First, what you want is not easy, fun, or quick. It will suck some days and you will hate it. Start slow with body weight workouts. Go do squats, sit ups, planks, push ups, and then gradually work in lifting to cover multiple muscle groups at one time. 80-90% of this is food. Burn more than you eat. Simple enough.

Health. I am 40 now and have had weight issues most of my adult life. I want to get rid of my CPAP, be able to teach my son how to play football. and not be dead at 59 like my dad who never got to meet his grandchildren. I want a long happy life with the girl I am marrying in a few months. I want to LIVE.

I will normally take a day off of working out, drug myself into a slight coma, drink as much water as I can, and if I'm feeling better the next day, head back to the gym. But I am also incredibly careful about wiping down machines, etc if I do that.

Depends on how hungry I am. Some days I do eat some of it back, others I don't. I have a hard time hitting my 3k limits normally, but add in a ton of cardio and strength training and I am hitting 4.5k for a day and at that point I may add some more calorie or protein dense foods, but I don't force myself to eat if I'm not…

I do a 10-15 minute cardio warmup before hitting the weights then end with a 30+ minute cardio workout.

I do at least 1 rest day a week. Mostly just to keep personal commitments, etc since it helps having a day/weekend where I don't need to budget out 2 hours for the gym on top of anything else I have going on.

How long have you been taking the adderall? When I first started it I had a hard time choking down 500 calories a day. I was just never hungry. It gradually got better but it took about a month.

Cold fried chicken (Preferably Popeyes), torn off the bone and dipped in Duke's mayo. That's about the weirdest thing I got.

Yep. 40 here and there was a definite libido increase when I started hitting the gym 5 days a week, and even more so when the strength training was incorporated.

IMO the sense of humor says a lot about a person. I think it's less of "You have to be funny" it's more of "I want someone who finds humor in the same types of things that I find funny"

Calculate your BMR/TDEE. Eat Less than your TDEE Move More. There are no magic bullets or quick fixes.

I do 3x a week with a personal trainer, Day 1 Upper, Day 2 Lower, Day 3 is for lifts that engage multiple muscle groups. (Deadlifts, Cleans, etc) In between those days I have a "rest day" of 1-1.5 hrs of cardio, and I do a 15-20 minute cardio warmup and a 30 minute cardio chaser for my lifting days.

I am definitely being patient, I know it is a slow process, I guess I was just wanting to see if there was anything I could be doing to aid it. I am going to stay on my path and enjoy whatever muscles I excavate from under my protective layer of blubber they have been hiding under. :)
