It depends on your height. I'm relatively tall and weight has further to distribute itself around. 31lbs = about 1.5 dress sizes on me.

Think you have done an amazing job. you should update your profile starting weight to either the doc's one or that+25 as you've come a long way - not just the 4 pounds your ticker suggests. Then you will remember how well you've done every time you log on.

Fantastic. The first of many NSVs I'm sure. Keep at it!

It was after two stone that people started noticing with me. But you will have changed. You'll be there before you know it.

Enjoy it - and keep it up Slow and steady changes habits of a lifetime.

A wholemeal seeded cracker with a slice of low fat cheese.

I have to agree. This helps you understand it's not about starvation and binge - it's about healthy eating and if you want treats then you can exercise. Good luck!

I have found that since I started this in April the amount gained has lessened. This month I was early - and only siggestion was that one evening I was starving and craved carbs, which I ate (healthier options than I would have in the past). Result - gain <0.5 lb gained.

Have you tried Pilates. A good instructor should help you. Worth doing a few one on one sessions so they can show you what will work for you before going to a group class.

A mug of low calorie hot chocolate works for me.

Congratulations. Enjoy the feeling. I got back into my jeans this week. It is a great feeling. Go girl!

Crepe spread with either nutella or peanut butter is lovely.

Thanks

Well done - just stick at it. It's a change of lifestyle and you are bound to look and feel so much better.

Don't eat under your goal and your body will reward you. Eating under suggests starvation and slows the metabolism. Happened to me a few weeks ago when I upped my exercise and had calorie deficits every day
-
If you exercise that much and eat less than 1200 calories that is bad. Some advocate eating back all your exercise calories - some suggest some. I have found eating back most of the calories has made me lose weight.
-
I never eat too few calories any day - as MFP points out if you try to log it you're body won't thank you. My deficits are always caused by exercise. Have never eaten less than 1200 calories a day. Just don't eat back all my exercise calories if I know I have a meal out or not able to exercise. Muscle mass increasing and…

I tend to look at weeks as a whole as sometimes life means the 1200 calories will be hard to achieve one day and exercise the next (or day before) will balance it. Since I stopped beating myself up over a 'bad day' I have lost weight.
-
Well done. That must be amazing. Happy days!

Thanks x

NSVs are clearly successes - but what does it stand for?
-
You need to keep 1 shirt for the awesome then and now photo and then throw it out. Your success has been tremendous!
-
Don't beat yourself up over it. Look at the week as a whole. If you know that you are going out, having a celebration or whatever get some exercise into your programme and eat sensibly around it. Don't starve / binge - your metabolism won't thank you for it.

My weight had plateaued for two weeks when I had upped the amount of exercise - just needed to increase intensity and make sure the calories counted were realistic.

Just walked a bit harder. As Givemewings said it was getting easier so I need to push myself harder. Average speed was settling about 3.3 mph now I am aiming for 3.5 minimum and making it 4 if it is a short walk. Making sure I am eating my exercise calories - 600 extra one day this week when I walked over 6 miles in just…

All are brilliant as part of a healthy diet. Make meals tasty. Just count the calories. A wholemeal pitta filled with a mashed banana really hit the spot for me this week when I needed a snack after exercise. Lost 3 pounds this week - so it was a good choice.
-
I've been walking. I think your approach is sensible. At work I have monitored walks of over 5 minutes - which in some days can be many, yet like you some days I can sit at my desk. Small bits of walking are a bonus. I always log walks to/ from work and others..I use mapmyrun app to get distance, time and speed and then…

When I started low fat yogurts and carrots helped. Stick with it and exercise - I've used walking. It let's you eat more and makes it realistic. If you know you have something coming up - do some exercise and get those calories in the can.. Good luck.

The scanner hasn't worked for me yet. Will persevere :o)
