With luck and effort, I'll reach my goal weight of 66kg. Through diet (mainly) and exercise (some), weighing daily and staying off the sugar.

I (hopefully) won't be having reflux issues. I will snore less. I won't have breasts (male here). I probably won't wake up to a sore back in the morning. But the biggest of them all: I will feel satisfied about my weight.

You don't need to low carb "for life" to use low carb to lose weight. As for water weight loss, I found it to be only about 1.5kg, not a lot. How much protein should you eat on a low carb diet? Somewhere between where you say "I can't eat one more piece of protein" and you're feeling weak due to the lack of protein. Also,…

Yes it is. You must be highly motivated and have no things that are likely to derail you, such as unexpected events or situations where you feel you have no control over them. I'm in a time schedule myself, I need to lose just under 2 pounds a week in order to achieve my goal weight at my preferred date.

Ignore, ignore, ignore. Eventually if you ignore someone enough times, both they and you will get used to whatever you're wanting to do that others don't.

Back in 2009 when I started my weight loss blog (which I'm still writing) I put on 2kg intentionally since I wanted to be my heaviest ever weight.

I love seeing women in crop tops. I'm very pleased that they've come back into fashion, it's been 15 long years.

A t-shirt that was given to me by a girlfriend's mother, after her trip to Hawaii. Back when I was in my 20's. Neither of them are with us anymore, so it would be nice to wear it and remember them. It is also a relic from the past, it is size medium, now I'm wearing size small and still want to lose weight.

Caffeine changes my mood, and sometimes makes me do stupid things. I was addicted for years, currently 23 months "clean". Also I'd get really tired the next day after having caffeine, and need another one to perk me up.

The taste, pretty much.

Thanks for the links (some of which I viewed) but I'm still not convinced that the rate of elimination type eating disorders at age 70 is the same at age 20, and the people who had it at age 70 also had it at age 20.

I believe that having CFS contributed to my gaining weight. From the ages of 25-29, I was gaining about 1kg a year. When I got CFS at the age of 29, I started gaining about 1kg a month. Initially I thought that it was because my metabolism had slowed down because of all of the lying in bed I was having, it took me a few…

I have chronic fatigue syndrome, I've had it for the last 21 years. I have improved over the years but still can't work full-time and usually have a nap in the early afternoon. Send me a message or two if you want.

You are right. BMI uses square power, but actually the power should be about 2.5, which is why there is a "newer" BMI calculation that uses 1.3 times your weight divided by height to the power of 2.5. You can read about it here http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-21229387

If you go for a run, your mass increases due to Einstein's theory of relativity. When you stop running, your mass decreases again. Where does the extra mass go?

I have kept records of many weight loss bloggers over the years, and of the dozens I have graphed to see how they were going, only one has consistently lost weight, with a greater loss at the beginning, and a smaller loss at the end. All of the others lost a bit, gained a bit, and repeated at least once. Here is my current…

A close enough way for me is to just compare myself to known body fat percentage photos online.

So it's just about how you look?
