Walking is where I started, then I joined gym and do elliptical.. a lot. I am now doing a lot more weights. My suggestion: Get an elliptical (buy, rent, steal, join gym).. SAME!! I had no idea I was consuming >4000 calories a day and >8000mg of Sodium. With High blood pressure, my doc said: Cut back on sodium. I thought I had, HAHA Oh, and the high blood pressure? " It's gone.

Everyone here is right on the money: If you go a little over, you lose a little less than the 2lbs you have set. In the grand scheme of things, the deficit your body sees is not a 24 hour thing. Based on the Navy calculator which uses all measurements, I am at 19.5% On the height / weight / waist calculator I am at 22% Given the "wait until you are at 15%", I will need to drop to about 160lbs before starting a meaningful weight training program.

I do Cardio every visit and lift 3 days per week. I currently do not have a weight training plan only because my focus has been weight loss. My advice: Don’t try a bunch of whacky diets, cleanses, water fasts… Find something that burns calories without too much pain. I think an elliptical is the best calorie burner, as long as you increment up and do not stay at the same pace / level too long. Sit ups would take 12,000 years to burn the same calories . Set up…
