I had a delicious salad for lunch, and got an iced mocha from Starbucks on my way back to the office. In hindsight, the salad was way tastier and satisfying than the mocha! (Salad was romaine, black beans, red pepper, tomato, corn, with *small* amounts of white cheddar cheese, red pepper ranch dressing, and jalapeno chips.…

Haha!! :p You know what I mean... they're generalizations, not cutoff limits! ;)

I love it! It's way better to do it with no weights than not do it all -- no excuses! (I even have a carton of tomato soup I've been using for some physical therapy exercises. It weighs 2lb 4oz, and I needed a 2lb weight, haha!)

Nice work, winnwong! I got soooo sweaty, too! I'm so proud of us!!! :) I ended up not doing measurements -- I have an appointment for a Fit3D body scan early next week, so I'm just going to use those this time, instead!
-
Welcome, winnwong! :) I'm so glad to have you on board! Will you take some photos and measurements before we get started? I was really glad I did the first time I did 30DS. I lost 4 or 5 pounds, but my shape changed SO drastically!

Whoops, kickoff is actually 6/1. Apparently I don't know what day it is today! :D
-
Yes, that's the one! :)
-
Yay, welcome, and THANK YOU for joining me! :) What's your name?

I'd love some new friends, too! I just rejoined MFP after some great success a few years back, and then falling off the wagon. For me, I know the key to success on MFP is having a group of friends for accountability and motivation! About me: My name's Miranda -- I just turned 35, live in Seattle, WA, and have a desk job.…

My final results were from 30DS, too! Here's my before/after from that final push, which helped me with the last five pounds:

Here's my before/after in my favorite jeans that had gotten WAY too small. I made it a GIF, so if it's just one image (not changing) try here: http://imgur.com/wl2fUmh First in series: And last: Over about 5 months, from 156 to 135.

Thanks, everyone! :)

Sorry, I feel like I killed this thread! I didn't mean to make it sound like such a bummer to have reached my goal weight!
-
I reached my goal weight a month ago, and I've been struggling with maintaining my good habits ever since. :ohwell: I've regularly been going way over on my calories, I've stopped eating as healthfully, and I've been eating way more sugar and unhealthy carbs, and fewer veggies. I think working toward that scale goal…

Thanks for all the supportive replies and good luck with the program, everyone! :) I'll be looking for your before and after pictures on the Success Stories board.

Really? I think plyo cardio circuit is way harder!
-
Oh no! I hope it heals up quickly! Did you put some ice on it? Take it easy with the squats -- best to lay off of the knee-stressing exercises for a few days than injure it further and be laid up for a month!
-
I've been eating more junk the last few days, because I bumped up my calories and now I have "extra" ones that I end up using on sugary cereal, pudding, white flour bagels, etc. It's actually harder for me to eat so many calories in healthy foods! (it always drives me crazy when people ask, "how am I supposed to eat X…

Well, the 30 Day Shred worked for me, as you can see! You only need light weights (like, soup cans) and to follow along with the video for a month. I did each of the three workouts for 10 days. Here's the whole DVD on YouTube!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ve-WiQKi_W8 (who knows how long it'll be up before it gets…

All in all I think Week One went pretty well for me. My thoughts: 1) I can't keep up with the Plyo Cardio Circuit as well as I wish I could; I feel like I'm not getting a great workout because it's so hard that I need to modify things a lot. I guess that might just be me being hard on myself, though -- now that I type it…

I'm just sticking with what I've been doing on MFP. It's been working for me so far, and I'm vegetarian so I would have to be doing some substitutions, anyway.
-
It's also basically the definition of being apple-shaped, which I have been blessed with as well. (sigh) Skinny arms and legs, all your fat in the mid-section. To the original poster: what are your waist to hip measurements? If you don't have much of a defined waist, this might just be the way your body is shaped. I…

Yeah, I think I follow... guess I'll just have to try it out and see for myself! :)

I was actually a little disappointed by today's Cardio Recovery. Don't get me wrong, I was sweating plenty and my quads are probably going to be screaming tomorrow, but I didn't feel like I burned much. I guess tomorrow will be making up for that! Jordan - would you say it was easier or harder than the Plyo Cardio Circuit?

I just realized I have NO idea where the chest strap for my HRM is! I think it might be in a box in storage under my boyfriend's parents' house... boo. It's a Garmin Forerunner, so I used to use it for pacing when I did long runs and rarely made use of the HRM, so who knows where the chest strap wound up! Guess I'll be…

Of course! Just ignore the dates and fill in whatever you like! :)

I just posted mine, but in case you missed them, check out my blog: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/colorlessgreen/view/my-april-2012-30ds-results-250901 I just finished on Saturday!

I'm so excited to start! I had been planning to start on May 1, but today makes more sense, so that I get my rest days to fall on the weekend. Don't know why I didn't think of that earlier! I did 30DS last month, and had an MFP group for it. It really kept me motivated! I tried to create an Insanity group last week, but…

Amazing! From your pictures I would've guessed you'd lost way more than three pounds, which means you must've put on some muscle, girl! :D I'm so proud of you!!! And me! And everyone!

I just printed out the calendar and fit test pages at the bottom of this page: http://www.insanity-workout-schedule.com/tag/insanity-calendar/ ...and put them on my fridge! :) So excited!
