I think we have a "road-kill" law in Tennessee that states you can take home anything you hit. This made me think of that! :p

This was true for me when I was 17 and convinced that I had to eat as little fat as possible to lose fat, even though I didn't really even need to. Today, I find that I'm even less hungry after working out. The difference, I think, is a conscious effort to fill my macros and eat a balanced diet. And more specifically, more…

I can appreciate your zeal, but I'd prefer they continue to remain honest about their numbers. Kudos to them for that. If you absolutely have to have it, I'm sure you could find really good Chipotle recipes on Pinterest.

I used his hair gel.

My weight loss has slowed down due to holidays and birthdays, but I don't anticipate gaining any weight. I do hope to be in the "healthy" range sometime in January.

I add them to dinner salads on non-workout days when I'm not all that hungry. Keeps me in the 1400 calories range. They're also great in a stir fry!

I am the same size today that I was the day I graduated from high school!

I can't speak for everyone else, but I was born (genetics) with a nice hour glass figure. I've never been below a certain weight in the healthy range, and am not sure where the fat will come off once I get to that point. It is complete and total vanity for me. I had originally set my goal to the middle of the healthy…

Definitely counting calories on Thanksgiving. I've already been through three birthdays and two Thanksgiving meals this month, so I've been super careful. Christmas will probably be more relaxed for me.

Congratulations!

A cup or two. Sometimes I'll have an afternoon cup just to curb a rare nicotine craving. (ex-smoker)

green bean casserole!

This is fantastic! Congratulations.

This made me giggle! To the OP, good luck to you! I recently signed up for my first 5k to take place in January, so I'm very interested in some of the advice offered in this thread. I'm sure once you get there, you'll be just fine!

Congratulations!

I'm pretty sure my dad will deep fry the big bird and cook a smaller one in the oven. B)

Sometimes, when my body wants to be lazy because of this cold weather, I just treat it the way I would my job. Get it done and then relax. It gets easier.

You get used to it. I did the same thing. I started wearing skirts to work everyday after wearing comfy pants everyday for several years. Now, no one really pays attention to what I wear. It was nice knowing that people do notice me though.

lol... I wish I could have more since I tend to crave salty things, but the end result is either no pain or lying in bed in fetal position all day. Totally worth the sacrifice for me.

I don't mind weighing during my period. The most I've gained from PMS is around a pound or two, but I keep my sodium really low during those times. I cramp up if I don't.

I've never been married but my personality hasn't changed much over the years. Attention at healthy weight in high school - meh. Attention being overweight in 20s - meh. Attention now, almost back at high school weight - meh. I've always been attracted to a person's mind. I can't imagine that the core of a person changes…

Cod is an easy fish to bake. Add some salt and pepper (I add lots of pepper) and then stick it in the oven.

I always go for a doughnut. They're more like a treat for me since I may have one per year. My biggest successes come when my younger sister decides I have to go eat Mexican food with her. Finding items with no cheese and extra veggies makes me very happy! Once I hit my first goal weight, I'll order a 1200 calorie plate of…

Light breakfast - 110ish Calories or so, normal exercise routine for Thursdays, and then gluttony. I should come in under maintenance.

The menu looks fine, albeit a little pricey. Maybe the program will give you some food ideas and tips on portion sizes and you won't need it long term.

I started sobering up once my ears started popping on the elevator ride up, but yep! I did it.

I always set my curly chips aside and save them for last, and I get irritated if someone steals one of my curly chips!

I opted to just drink my over consumption of calories while I was there. Their food and the flashiness of the entire city in general really just didn't appeal to me much. If you get the chance, jump off of the stratosphere. Hands down, coolest view you'll get in Vegas.
