If you're just starting out 30 day shred is good by Jillian Michaels, it's about 30 mins a day and you need some hand weights. What you find is that you will lose a lot more inches than you expect, I lost 10 inches doing this 30 day programme. Most follow this with Ripped in 30 by Jillian. the next step by her is teh 90…

My mum has osteo arthrotis in her back, knees, neck, spine and hands. She has found swimmng and bike riding the best forms of exercise as she is supported but gets her heart pumping. She also does chair yoga and some pilates to improve her strength and flexibilty. She ha managed to stop taking all the medication that she…

I have the FT4 and preferred the male one so I bought that!! Makes no differenc as it askes your gender, DOB etc and sets your exercise zone based on that. I like it to track how many calories I've burned during my exercise session so I can accurately know what my intake / loss is every day. It's simple to use and I don;t…

Yes I do. It helps me work out if I have eaten and exercised off my 500 cals a day to lose 1lbs a week. i don;t eat my exercise cals back but it helps me ensure I am hitting my targets on a daily basis. The same workout can vary by 100 cals a time dependent of effort etc, so is really good for helping you stay on track.

YOu need to do extra leg stretches for the 1st few days or you'll be walking like John Wayne!! It does hurt, I'm not going to lie but after days 4-5 it does get easier, even when you hurt you need to push through and keep going and do the next day. If tehre are moves you can't do, just make sure you keep moving and don;t…

I got bored with 30 DS on it's own as the DVD didn't motivate me, but I love Jillian so bought a box set and mix it up with Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism and No More Trouble Zones. I would say doo extra stretches as it will hurt until about day 4-5. There is a good support group on Facebook, if you want hints, tips,…

The physical act of losing weight is actually easier than changing your mindset, your mind is te hardst thing to overcome. I have been saying for ages "I need to lose weight, I need to do something" then made excuses for not doing it so nothing ever changed. This time I have set out with a positive mindset, I will do this,…

I have a breakfast smoothie with whizzed up cottage cheese, oats, almond milk or normal milk, honey and fruit. It gives you lots of protein which keeps you fuller and you can't tell its cheese in the smoothie.

To begin with you do it for a full 30 days to get your body going and to change, follow it for the full 30 and you can see changes up tp 15 inches lost are some of teh results we have seen on teh FB page for shred. I would suggest doing extra stretches in teh first few days so you don;t ache too much and keep well hydrated.

I agree with finding out your BMR and starting from there. Also if you eat too little your body will go into starvation mode and keep hold of everything you oput ina nd will hamper weightloss. It seems odd but if you don't eat enough it will hamper your weighloss as much as eating too much. Using your BMR and working out…

Treat it as your treat meal, you should have 1 a week and then you can move on without any guilt.
