Today I took 1st place in my Age Group in a 5K race. The prize was a pumpkin pie. I did not eat any pie :)

My biopsy came back benign, and I started my Spring marathon running program yesterday. 7 miles of TM incline work on Tuesday and 7 miles at my goal marathon pace tonight. Hope to stay healthy & strong and hit it harder then ever.

After I beat the bulemic cycle of restrict - binge - purge, I began binging only at night when I woke up, it eventually dropped from binging > 1000 calories to eating about 400-600 calories. To stop night eating - I purchased a lock and chain, I put all foods in 1 cabinet, I lock the doors and my wife takes the key.

Actually no schedule for lifting. It was my first venture to the other side of the gym :) I'm just gonna have to figure out a routine! Something new to try ? Have you thought about insanity or p90x? Know several friends that do those from home and they are really fit.

I'll try it the next time I night eat - I cant even recall what I ate last night when I got up at 1 am to use restroom. I know I just started dipping the spoon in my protein jugs - I estimate I probably ate 4 scoops or about 480 calories of protein powder. On the plus side, I'm really not binging nor restricting. I dont know if I could log a binge or even my night eating unless I hide my diary. That takes some kind of strength I dont yet have.

100 days till my next marathon which is in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In addition to running, I started hitting the weights tonight at the gym. Trying to strengthen my core. So BoubouChan - Did you get in a run? And WillLift4Tats - I'm glad you had an enjoyable weekend without binging!

3 marathons in 3 states in 3 consecutive weekends. Today was my fastest of the fall. Most important: I controlled my diet while eating out. No real chance to binge since I didnt have food with me. Although I did eat at Golden Corral, but limited myself to vegetables only! Praise God!

Boubou - try not to be too hard on yourself. I understand that its easier said than done. But you will feel better about yourself when you pick yourself back up and get right back on track. You can do this!

If I run Marshall this weekend, it will be 3 in 3 weeks, and my 9th in 2014. When I say *IF* it does depend upon the weather, if its mostly yucky outside, I'll just run the 1/2 marathon. Admire your will power, I'd eat the whole carton of gelato :)

I might be able to try that - would have to think about what to rate some foods. Ice Cream & Pizza would be 10's. I'd imagine some fruits that contain higher calories and sugars would be the lower numbers - healthier foods... 1 - Green vegetables, zero calorie soda, unsweetened / low calorie calorie jell-o, unsweetened…

It's fear. Their are "safe" foods I can eat and foods that if I eat I fear will cause me to gain weight. And I know thats not logical. Its nuts.
