I have been doing this for now 2 solid months. I have had 1 true binge since then. I've had a 2 or 3 out of control moments, but only 1 binge as classically defined for bullemics.

Stopped Cold - I was coming home from a long day at work. The binge beast was on the prowl. I was moderately hungry & stomach was growling. I stopped at a gas station and picked up some high protein snacks. I wanted to grab the refined carbs but I stuck with high protein snacks. I consumed some beef jerky. Got home. Took…

I've done the full profile now for approx 2 weeks, and almost 3 weeks with most supps. I can report 1 binge, but I had far more control during that binge, ate far less, and even questioned whether it was a true binge in the sense BED is medically defined. And even that was at a time where I had quit taking prozac because…

Eating Disorders dont affect just girls in the teens and twenties. And eating disorders are more than just anorexia. I've struggled off…

Just my 2 cents based upon my experience: 1. Restricting (keeping calories too low) leads to eventual binging. 2. The long term counting of calories is said to lead to binging according to most books on the matter. I've only recently been trying not counting calories, so I cant really speak intelligently on that.

This is a fairly good guide on Binge Eating. Some of us were bulimic, and ceased purging activities, but still binge. But this is a good guide on BED. In short, if you have no sense of control duting, and have profound shame afterwards, its BED.…

Seems like from Halloween (Sept) to Easter (April) the groceries are fully stocked with seasonal treats. Thankfully the season is almost over.
