Eat a healthy balanced diet and spend your money on a therapist to help you deal with your body and food issues.

#1 - Obese truly is one of the ugliest words in the English language as far as I'm concerned. I much prefer Rubenesque - you're in France, so definitely go with that! And remember, it's just a word, just like your weight is just a number, it doesn't define you - unless you let it. #2 - Mind your words - calling yourself a…

LOVE THIS! Wow, that's some powerful advice!

OMG - thanks for making it blatantly clear just how big of a dork I am with this one! Oh, and these amuse me greatly! Sometimes this is the source of the best giggles I get all day. Keep wishing I knew where to get them and how to post them but then I realize how many extra hours a day I would lose online, so please, no…

It's not cheap, but it is by far the best tasting shake I've ever had. You can mix them up with anything and they are delicious! I'm having one made with dark chocolate almond milk & peanut butter this morning and it tastes just like reese peanut butter cups. Also great with choc milk & raspberries or any combo of fresh…

GREAT advice! Really knowing yourself and what you are capable of is huge. I'll add one of my own that is a game-changer once you embrace it... It's not how many times you fall, it's how many times you get back up. Don't let a slip up, a lazy day or a binge ruin your day or your week, just shake it off and keep going.…

Yup, that says it!!!

Oh I would totally do that one!!! And I'd pay LOTS for a jacket that said I did the Hot Chocolate 5k!!! But yeah, I just did my first 5k yesterday and I had a long chat with hubby this morning about how I think I need to commit to doing another one to keep me motivated to keep running, especially once the weather gets…

LOVE c25k! In a million years no one would have EVER thought I'd be a runner, but now I am. I'm slow, slow, slow, but I'm doing it and it feels GREAT! Did my first 5k yesterday and am planning for the next one. I couldn't RUN the whole thing, just kept doing intervals and plodding along. This might be the first time in my…

I totally agree with you! If you're feeling bitter and angry and ripped off, you're not as likely to stick to it, or if you do, you won't feel good about it. Believing in what you're doing and feeling good about it is a huge part of the battle. I'd definitely start out with a week at 1700, then a week at 1600, then a week…

Don't forget that it's perfectly fine to have a snack in the afternoon, especially if all you're having for lunch is a lean cuisine. Lots of people actually recommend that you eat smaller meals and more snacks, so just find some good snacks and you're good to go. :o)

every. damn. day !!! being proud of what you're doing and feeling good about yourself is what's going to keep you doing it and give you long-term success! keep doing what you're doing and keep being proud of it!!! if you let sarcasm and negativity take that away from you, you are giving them your power, and now more than…

I read about it in Runner's World too. (tip: don't read it at work - not cool crying all over the place) I sounds really amazing and I'm sure it will be a powerful experience. Take kleenex :o) Good for you for running!

I know MOST people who have survived to adulthood know a little bit about health and nutrition (even if we don't look like it), but I've encountered a couple of people who were truly clueless. I was stunned at how much they DIDN'T know, but even those of us that think we "know it all" still need a reminder about the basics…

I would change your activity level instead of counting it as exercise because you're doing it most days. That will allow you more calories every day, then log anything over & above your 'normal' activity.

Just downloaded a new app the other day. It's Jeff Galloway's Ultimate 5k and it actually speeds up your music when you're running to increase your pace. If you keep up with the pace of the tunes, you go faster. You can adjust it to whatever you like. Your fave songs sound a little different (but not as weird as you would…

They're fine, how much trouble can they get in? (applies equally to kids and husbands)

omg - haven't heard that one in weeks! that was special!
-
Yup it sounds like you've tried pretty much everything! My two cents... if it was me, I'd probably try the drugs. Good Luck!
-
I checked out your diary too - are you eating enough? I hope you just didn't finish filling out most of those days, cuz 600 calories a day doesn't cut it. You need to be eating enough or you will be messing up your metabolism. Track EVERYTHING faithfully for a couple of weeks and take the info to your doctor to evaluate…

I gotta say I have to agree... I've seen WAAAAAY more thin guys with heavy women than the other way around. Everyone says that men are shallow and too concerned with looks and they are very visual creatures (ie: get turned on by a cappucino mug) but I think the reality is that women (as a group) are the shallow ones when…

I love myself, it doesn't matter how much I weigh... Sadly, I wasn't even very good at convincing myself of it either. Happily, I love and respect myself a whole lot more these days! ps: I have lost 32 pounds, I just reset my ticker for a challenge I'm doing :o)
