  • I'll help keep you motivated. I have struggled with finding motivation, but it gets easier the more I do it each day. It will for you too. You have to take it one day at a time. Having the extra support from friends is a bonus.
  • I usually workout M-F and take the weekends off. If I miss a weekday, then I'll make it up on the weekend.
  • I sometimes have some egg salad with a slice of bread or banana and peanut butter. I also like greek yogurt with granola.
  • We've got a vacation coming up and I am going to do my best to stay within my calorie limits. I'm planning to do a lot of outdoor activities and hope that will help keep things balanced in the event that I eat too much.
  • I have to monitor my iron daily so being able to log and keep track of that it definitely helpful.
  • I love gardening! This year I am growing blueberries, blackberries, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, sweet potatoes, thyme, mint, green beans, sweet cherries, and onions. Another thing I like to do is visit "pick your own" farms as well as the local farmers market to help support the local communities. Anyone who…
  • I'll help you stay motivated. Welcome to MFP!
  • Add me as well. We can both motivate each other. I always look forward to seeing what my buddies are logging and helping them stay motivated. They do the same for me and it truly does keep you strong in mind and focused on your goals.
  • I enjoy taking rest days and think they are important. I'll still do various activities on a rest day to stay active though. Otherwise, my rest days may turn into rest weeks like you were saying.

  • Oh goodness! Chocolate is high up on my list, but I also have a very hard time putting down a bag of the Sweet and Spicy Doritos.
  • I occasionally have popcorn and I love it. As another person here mentioned, you can look for the 100 calorie bags and they are usually enough to satisfy a craving. I don't add anything to mine as I love it just the way it is plain. When the holidays come around, it's another matter. I have to be careful not to overindulge…

  • It absolutely works! I personally don't believe I could do it any other way. Not only does it help me lose weight, but I am also more conscious about what I am eating and am able to improve in areas where I need to. Exercising is a bonus because it conditions my body and makes me stronger.
  • Home. I like to workout with my own equipment and gear in a room that is free of distractions. I can adjust the temperature to my comfort zone, play my music loud and use my own bathroom. I know my home gym is clean because I do that myself. I love getting outside for exercise too.

  • I'm with you! We do our best when we have the support we need. Stay focused on your goal and you will succeed.
  • You've already started and are on track to succeed. If it gets tough (and it will) remember why you wanted to do this in the first place. No matter what comes your way, never give up. Some days will be more challenging than others, but know that you have the power to overcome those challenges. Congratulations and keep up…
  • I'm glad you're trying again. Making changes isn't always easy, but it's worth it in the end. Good luck!

  • I'm 34 and it's definitely harder, but I feel like I can do it. I just need to stay motivated and be patient.
  • I'll add you. We can keep each other accountable and help motivate one another. It's not easy and having as much support as we can get can really make a difference. Don't give up! Fight through this and you will do great!
  • I'm never afraid. I like to know where I stand even if it's not good. It helps keep me accountable and motivates me to work harder if I need to.
  • First... congrats on your new bundle of love! Everyone is different. Some lose it all right after and for others it takes longer. With my first, I got down to my goal weight about 9 months postpartum. My second pregnancy was a difficult one and I was more stressed especially after delivery. I ate better and put on less…
  • I'm like you in some ways and so I understand what you're going through. It's not easy and if it was everyone would be fit. Find one activity you love and do that each day. Go from there. Take it one day at a time. Buddy up with people to help keep you accountable.
  • It's never too late to start over. It's not an easy journey and some days and even years are more challenging than others. The important thing is you haven't given up. Make each day count and you will reach your goals!
  • It's a lot harder for me to stay focused and motivated without the extra support. Feel free to add me so that we can support each other!
  • I need as much motivation as I can get. Count me in!
  • Love that quote! Feel free to add me so that we can help support each other.
  • I'm a mother with two children. I've always told them how important it is to stay active and be healthy and so I take them to gymnastics, dance, soccer and also a run club. I haven't always followed my own advice though. I've lost and gained and am here again hoping to make it stick. My biggest challenges are staying…
  • I've used a Polar F7 for several years now and love it! It keeps track of my exercise minutes daily/weekly. It keeps track of the calories I burn daily/weekly. It lets me know when I need to slow down so that my heart rate isn't too high, and when I need to bring it up so that I'm in my heart rate zone. It has other…
  • I've used MFP before and am using it again. It works. It's hard at first, but worth it. If you stay true to your calorie goals and fit in some time to exercise, you will see the pounds start to come off sooner than you expect.
  • I wear the Nike Air Pegasus 28 Trail women's. They are my absolute favorite. I bought them years ago and got an extra pair as a backup just in case they wore out too soon, but I'm still wearing the first pair. I use them for walking, running and hiking.
