  • Agreed, but I suppose it's to try to shock them as much as possible into changing their diets. Very frustrating to those of us who are trying to stick to a healthy diet for our health as well as our weight. I must admit, I feel really sorry for some of the skinny ones, as the amount they have to eat compared to what…
  • My weight this week - 151.5. Sorry I missed my weigh in yesterday, I've been super busy! :grumble: Well done to all of you for your losses, let's kick fat's *kitten*!
  • I didn't do Saturday, and I didn't do last night - have been doing a lot of work renovating our house, and last night I had to empty a room ready for the plumber who's coming in today, as well as cook dinner and do the weekly food shopping, and I didn't finish work until nearly 7, so there was no time unfortunately. On…
  • I always go with the HRM and trust it implicitly. I also have a Polar FT7, and IMO it's amazing - does exactly what it says on the tin! Remember that your HRM is calibrated as per your height, weight and sex, and you will never get that kind of accuracy from other sources that only estimate. For instance, I do the same…

  • Posted in the wrong week! Numpty!
  • I only log my workout calories. Today I spent a few hours in the garden and really worked up a sweat sweeping paths and trimming my hedges, but I just thought any calories burnt were a bonus, the same as yesterday when my hubby and I walked to the shops and back (about 30 minutes at a moderate pace). When you start logging…
  • Level 2 Day 1 completed today. Anyone else feel like their head was going to explode because they got so hot!? My max heart rate was 179 BPM! OMG that was hard, maybe I was just really pushing myself - I'd better see some great results!! Note to self: kick hubby out of living room before commencing workout - chuckling…

  • Day 6 today. Yesterday was much easier, pushed through the pain...and do you know when she says "I bet you're floating off the floor now" I really feel like I am. Press ups still really tough, but I'm finding them much easier than I did on day 1! Hopeful for a loss this week - lbs or inches is fine with me! I can feel the…

  • Hilarious!
  • Hi, I'm from Norfolk, feel free to add me... it's great to have a few more people from the UK  C x
  • D*ck! You are worth so much more than that, and we are all beautiful no matter what size we are! His attitude sucks, at least you can do something about your weight, should you wish to. We are a lovely bunch and will support you through your journey no matter what....there's no prejudice on here. Love to you, hope you're…
  • I just did! Can't wait til it arrives! I always use the database to log my exercise, and I don't think a lot of the stuff on there is accurate, so the HRM will be my rock!
  • I aim to please! ...and thank you goes without saying!
  • Sounds like shin splints to me...google it and see what you think. I had it when I was younger and it was so painful...there are some exercises you can do to help, but try holding off on the running for a couple of days if possible.
  • Day 1 completed...Jillian, you are one mean trainer! I'm going to hurt tomorrow, but as the saying goes, no pain no gain!
  • So, as promised I'm checking in with my measurements which are as follows: Height: 5ft 8 inches SW: 163lbs CW 154.5lbs GW: 129lbs Bust: 37 inches Natural Waist: 31 inches Waist at Belly Button: 34.5 inches Hips: 40 inches Right Thigh: 23 inches Left Thigh: 23 inches Right Upper Arm: 12.5 inches Left Upper Arm: 12 inches…
  • I don't know what everyone else thinks, and I'm not saying this is something we should all do, but I'm going to get my husband to take before, day 10, day 20 and after completion pictures. Would be cool if a few others could do it so we can all see the difference. C x
  • Weighed myself this morning, but didn't get a chance to do my measurements yet. At work now, about another 9 hours and I'll be home so I can send you my measurements. Weight: 154.5
  • Weigh in this morning = 156lbs, no change from last week. Hey ho, it's not a gain I suppose.
  • Oooooo, count me in...I have joined a support group on here and one of my goals is to complete the 30 day shred DVD...I've been meaning to start but my husband and I are renovating a house at the moment, so I have been totally shattered and not up for it. This is just the motivation I needed, so thank you! Will weigh in…
  • Heee, that was my recipe post - try it, it was delicious...and only 301 cals, BONUS!
  • Can you add me too please? I'm in the UK, so my weight log in will be earlier than all of you on the other side of the pond, but I would love to have extra motivation, and you all seem such a lovely bunch...being a pin-up girl appeals to me! SW: 163 CW: 156 Goals: - Lose 20lb in the next 10 Weeks - it's a tight…
  • Great, glad you all like it... I suppose you could make it lower in calories if you got rid of the extra yoghurt, red onion, cucumber and coriander garnish, but equally that's kind of what makes it special!
  • Hi Wayne, Saw the Norwich shirt and Holt and knew you were local. I'm from Bradwell, Great Yarmouth, so about 20 minutes up the road from you. Would be great to keep in touch for motivation. Cheryl
