Hi, I'm a mom to two boys and work full time. While exercise is important, just remember diet plays the biggest part! Also certain foods (carb loaded meal) will make you feel tired so if you eat cereals and breads, pastas try to wean yourself. I promise through food you'll find the energy you need. Good luck.

Hi. If you're following a low carb diet you really don't need gadgets, exercise as often as your schedule allows and you'll get great results. My husband lost 40 pounds in 3 months with only 2 workouts per week!

I love a teaspoon of coconut oil in my coffee or herbal tea. Every bit helps.

There's a ketodiet app for iphone that will help you plan meals... $2 well spent

Haters be hatin'...it's just how it is

Cut out the sweets all together :( this crap is too artificial

I just thought of something that I love...grilled chicken or new york steak with guacamole as a dipping sauce...it's so delish!

You'll lose more and faster and feel better by eating foods that don't come with a label. Just sayin.

I don't have recipes yet. I was following a somewhat low carb lifestyle but i made the switch to keto this week. Congrats on your loss by the way. So far my breakfast is half of avocado, 2 eggs and bacon. If i come across any yummy recipes I'll come back to share :)

I think sometimes people place too much trust on doctors. Doctors learn very little about nutrition. For most people that make the switch to low carb, they start feeling amazing, full of energy, my advice is try it for 30 days, no harm will be done and you might be pleasantly surprised with your results.

Hi. I like to focus on measurements and clothing size, the scale isn't worth stressing about.

Hi. I cut out processed food and sugar. Nourishing yourself with whole foods makes a big difference not only in your weight loss journey but also in how you feel day to day. I find that when i eat pasta and cereals, i feel tired and sluggish. But lean meats and veggies make me feel my best. Good luck to you!

Follow not only what works for you but what you can follow long term. I just changed my carbs to 10% and it's gonna take a lot of discipline and proper meal planning. I find aside from veggies and fruit all other carbs make me feel tired.

Me too! I lost 45 pounds got down to ideal weight and kept it off for almost 2 years. Now i have gained 20 back and here I am. Feel free to add me

I completely agree with starryskies. My body loves low carb...I feel so good, alert and full of energy, no digestive issues and I never feel like I'm starving.

Hi, I tried atkins a while ago. I struggled to stay on it. I now follow paleo, which is still low carb but i don't have to restrict my fruit and veggies. It does work though you will get great results!

Hello, i am 40. I eat paleo mostly and exercise about 2-3 hours weekly, jillian micheals videos at home. The best part is that eating paleo is so healthy, you'll feel amazing and see results quite quickly. It is hard to follow as its pretty much meat, veggies, fruits, nuts and healthy fats, no sweets/dairy/beans or…

Try to do strength training twice weekly to increase metabolism and develop a tighter/leaner physique

Take your measurements and how your clothes fit. The scale is not worth worrying about.

You look fantastic!

Kevin congrats on your journey! My advice is find something you enjoy (for exercise) focus on eating real food not packaged junk. Lots of veggies, protein, fruits, healthy fats, you'll reach your goals just by being consistent. I like going to the gym and get a lot of workouts from youtube.

I nursed both of my kids and lost weight almost effortlessly. My advice would be to focus on nutrition, my ob-gyn told me not to eat anything i wouldn't give my baby, so I didn't count calories but made sure I ate plenty of veggies and fruits, ate protein with every meal and nuts and avocados almost daily. If you exercise…

Thank you all for your insight. I will keep on trucking and hope he joins me on his own.

I read if you place the half with a cut onion in the same container in the fridge, it'll stay fresh but i haven't tried it.

I had the most weight loss success following paleo, never counting anything yet only eating when hungry. I disagree completely with having to count calories. I use this site to stay accountable and make sure I am getting enough fiber and keeping sugars low (even natural). But i also think we all find what works and what we…

Interval training is a lot more effective and you'll switch between resistance moves and cardio, the best part is an intense 20 minute work out will give you better results than a 45 min jog

He lost weight and then hit a plateau, gave up and gained it all back and some. I'd like him to feel as good as I do, not tired and achy all the time (plus look good) So far he hasn't joined me for anything and we live in northern Alberta so it's 20 below outside most days. Still there's plenty to do. Thank you, maybe…

That's why I hate scales

You're going to have days that are over/under, don't feel bad. As long as most of the food you ate is nutritious, i wouldn't stress on it. For me though if i have one cookie, it awakens cravings for munchies, so most times I go without.

Love this idea!
