  • so I have been using the honey for about 2 weeks now, and I have to say I see a huge difference! My eyes are still a little itchy and I sneeze every once in a while, but nothing like I wasw before. My sis tried it too and she said she felt like it made her sneeze more, but I heard that could happen and it might get worse…
  • 1200 is the bare minimum you should get, you don't want your body to go into starvation mode and begin storing fat instead of burning it. If I only ate 1200 cals I'd feel like I was going to pass out. I also try to stay pretty active and workout pretty much every day. But anyway I ussually keep my meals between 300-500…
  • yea I have pure natural raw wildflower honey. I've only been doing it for a few days so I think it will be a little while till I see a difference. I'm also still taking benadryl at night because without it I'd be scratching my eyes out, there still bad even when I take it but it's slightly better. anyway hopefully this…
  • I don't have her books but I've thought about buying them. I do read Clean Eating magazine, and while I don't follow it to a t, I try to eat that way most of the time.
  • theres a book called The Sneaky Chef that shows you how to purree fruit and veggies and put them into all kinds of things that kids like, such as mac and cheese and muffins and stuff.
  • vodka and club soda with a lemon or lime. Or a flavored vodka, I like 3 olives
  • I would say that diets don't work either. You have to consider it a changed lifestyle. I was on and off diets for years. I was never severely overweight but I would gain and lose the same 20lbs over and over again. Diets don't work because people try to look for these miracle diets that are going to amazingly take off 50…
  • I've heard that the "fat burning zone" burns a higher percentage of fat, but the cardio zone burns more calories and therefore more fat overall.
  • if you have one try doing a workout dvd so you can at least burn some extra calories, or if you have on demand they have free workouts on there. I do the kickboxing one all the time, in fact I'll probably be doing it tomorrow since were supposed to get a ton of snow tonight!
  • I LOVE Ezekiel bread. Have you tried the tortillas? Theyre really good too!
  • They have 100 calorie packs of almonds, you should try them if you have trouble with portion size. I usually just by the big can but portion it out BEFORE I sit down to eat them. It's a really bad idea for me to sit down with a big can of nuts and mindlessly munch on them in front of the tv or while doing homework
  • mines open if anyone wants to look...
  • Bell Peppers Pecans Strawberries Bananas Spinach
  • I just figure out how many servings the dish makes, then divide one by that number. When you put in how many servings you have use the result of that. For example if you make something that is 6 servings, divide 1 by six and you will get .16, that is the number of servings you will have, Other then that I don't think…
  • I like the Hungy Girl cookbooks and The Most Decadent Diet Ever. I use both of them all the time. They take normal high fat foods and tweak them a little bit. Iove the Bacon and Cheese Pepper Skins in the HUngry Girl 200 under 200 cookbook. They take potato skins and use bell peppers, instead of poatoes, and top it with…
  • I usually use the hummus for a dip with whole grain pretzles or crackers. or to dip fresh veggies like sliced bell peppers or baby carrots
  • I love turkey. avocado, roasted peppers and spinach on a wrap. I'm not sure how many calories that is off hand but it's so good! I usually use the Ezekiel Sprouted Grain Tortillas, theyre a little more calories, but it's so filling Iusually only eat half of it at a time anyway.
  • raw veggies (slices peppers, carrots, celery, etc.) and hummus
  • I dit atkins about five years ago and yeah I lost about 20 lbs but as soon as I started eating bread again I gained it all back and then some, (I was also miserable). So acouple years ago I just decided to switch to whole grains and just try and cut out refined carbs. And honestly I've never been happier or in better…

  • I agree with the blendtec. I have one and it's amazing. I use it all the time for smoothies, homemade salsa, homemade peanut butter, etc. However, they are on the expensive side.
  • Is it ok to go over by fiber a tiny bit? I eat throughout the day and it's usually a lot of whole grains, fruit and veggies, and lean meat. I dont go over in anything else, but my fiber tends to be over by like 5 graams
  • my list usually includes anything by kashi <3, spinach, asparagus, strawberries, bananas, grapes, dole fruit cups, nonfat yogurt, skim milk, 100% whole grain bread, roasted peppers, sundried tomatoes, lean chicken or other meat (pork, beef, turkey)

  • Kashi has cheddar crackers that are kind of similar to cheez-its. Honestly their not as good...they taste a little drier and less salty. But there worth a shot. There better for you and maybe they could satisfy your craving.
  • I know what you mean about working in a restaurant!!! I serve at a steakhouse and it's really hard on a busy friday night, sometimes I wont be able to eat a real meal for 6-8 hrs!! I usually try to bring some whole grain granola bars or a healthy sandwich like tuna on whole grain or something
  • I just bought these Kashi soft baked cereal bars today. I haven't tried it yet but they look delicious!!! I'm sure they will be, I love all their other products!
  • If you want something other then veggies, like something sweet, try sugar free jello. its only 10 calories a pack. I also usually try to keep some creamsicle or fusgsicle pops in my house. They satisfy my sweet tooth and are only 60 or 70 calories. I also love to snack on fruit,...bananas, strawberries, blueberries,…
