Haven't had pizza in ages and don't miss it like I thought I would. I just saw ads yesterday for pizza with bacon and cheese baked in the crust and another one with a pretzel crusts. Yuck. they should call them sodium specials!

I need a belt for my jeans! I wore a pantsuit last week that I couldn't pull past my hips two years ago! I can do 30 pushups on my toes without stopping!

Former WW here. I swtiched from WW to MFP about 3 months ago. Lost about 13 pounds on WW but then plateaued and was tired of paying money for losing and gaining and losing and gaining the same 1.2 pounds weekly. I like the community support from MFP along with the fact that it's free and the scanner database has many more…

I'm 47, 5'3.5" and 195. Can't seem to get out of the 190s. Hoping to get to 165-170. Was as heavy as 210, but dropped that weight over the last year. Very slow progress.

I'm doing roughly every two months or 6-8 weeks.

Yes, this is happening to me. The scale is not really moving but I have lost 2 inches in my hips, a quarter inch in my bust and a half inch in my waist since I took my measurements 2 months ago. I'm encouraged by this but like the OP, I would love to see the scale move because this is not the weight (193 pounds) I want to…

I'm 47. I do cardio 45-60 minutes, 5-6 days out of the week, with 2-3 days of weight training. I also do deep water aerobics for 45-60 minutes once a week. Cardio includes riding my road bke, running outside or on the treadmill, elliptical trainer. I also do workout DVDs-Jillian Michaels, Kelly Coffey-Myer, P90X, etc.

It actually took me several weeks to tweak and adjust my eating, exercise and tracking. I started at 1200 and realized it was too low because I was constantly hungry. I then upped my calories to 1400-1500 and did not feel deprived and continued to lose.

please also add me. Looking for support!

Former WW online person here who lost about 15 pounds initially and then plateaued. I left because I was tired of spending money gaining and losing the same 2 pounds over a year. I like MFP better where I can actually track what I'm eating better plus it's free. Also the WW bar scanner doesn't have half the products that…

I just upped my workouts to 5-6 days a week for 45-60 minutes (plus a swim class) and I have noticed that I have been starving, often going to bed or waking up in the middle of the night with my stomach growling. I decided to change my tracking from MFP to TDEE and up my food intake, so hopefully I will start to see some…

Processed meats like hotdogs and luncheon meat. I had no idea how much salt I was eating. And soda.

It varies. Sometimes it's been as low as a half pound or as high as 3 pounds.

That's the weight I think I can maintain successfully given my circumstances-age, history, 2 kids, lifestyle. Go for it!

I started running when I was 35, very late, and I used this program: http://www.amazon.com/Beginning-Runners-Handbook-13-Week-Program/dp/1553650875/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=undefined&sr=1-1&keywords=beginner%27s+running+handbook I liked this program because of its focus on injury prevention, rest days, and overall…

One of my favorite recipes-not sure it's shown in the picture served on top of spaghetti. We eat it without spaghetti, just as a casserole dish. Everything is baked, not fried and you can go light on the cheese and sauce if you want. My kids love it! No pasta.…

I started thinking about food as fuel for my body and being mindful of what I was putting into my body.

I did 30DS and didn't lose weight from it, but I did get the benefits of increased endurance, overall improvement in my fitness level, and muscle toning. It's only a 27 minute workout, so you might need a longer workout or try combining it with some other exercise for variety. Also, I'm never one of those people that saw…

I'm 5'4", but I'm 47 and I've had two kids, so if I could get to 160-170 lbs.I would be very pleased. I haven't weighed 125-130 pounds since before my kids and post kids, I was able to maintain 165 lbs. healthfully and wearing a size 8-10.

Egg white omelette (1 cup of egg whites) with mushrooms, onions, spinach and cheese. I might have a slice of whole wheat toast and jelly with it. This breakfast holds me for at least 4 hours.

I've been pescatarian for almost 1 year. Gave up beef and poultry. I also don't drink soda or juices (I prefer fresh fruit). I also don't eat fast food, processed food with nitrates, pizza, and pasta (because I can't control myself). I will treat myself to ice cream and occasionally candy in very small doses-lol.

Girl, I would KILL to be 156! You look great. Thanks for inspiring me. I just started MFP about a month ago after a year on Weight Watchers (lost 15, then plateaued while still paying them lots of money). Your story gives me hope!

I'm barely 5'4", late forties and I have had two kids. I"ve also donated 1 kidney (in 2007) to a family member and I'm not sure how that plays into my metabolism and ability to lose weight. Lost 15 lbs on Weight Watchers, but can't seem to get out of the 190s. I doubt that I'll be back to my post college weight of 128-132…
