You are beautiful, and courageous. :)

Really! I eat noodles and I'm bloated and uncomfortable for days. But I could really go for a donut.

Being proud of yourself, and being humble are different things. When I got my black belt a year ago, I was very proud, and I wanted to shout it from the rooftops how it made me feel, but at the same time, I know I am not the best at what I do, there are plenty of people senior to me who are better at the art than I am.…

Marc David has some great blog articles about the psychology of eating, and this one in particular about cravings and what they mean. Take a meander through his articles, I bet you will find something that helps you out: http://psychologyofeating.com/3-kinds-craving/

I started at 220. I am 156 now. Proof that it can be done. Anyone can add me, but please send your requests with a note. :)

at first, when I first found MFP, he thought i was obsessing about logging every single bite. He came around. By the time I posted my one year blog with before and current pics, and he saw the change in the photos as a drastic change instead of seeing me every day, he is totally supportive now.

Pear shape here, enormous thighs and saddle bags that giggle jiggle jangle when I walk, but if I wear a one piece, I'm covering up my best feature, my middle. Granted, after two kids it's not perfect, but my shoulders and waist are the best, so I see no reason to cover them up with a tankini or one piece that would just…

This. water retention will slow you down, but not stall you completely. Once in a while, a good 'party day' within reason is good for the soul, you know? Mine's usually a couple days a month if I can control myself on the opposite weekends. ETA: I had cheesecake, with strawberry sauce (2 slices!), ribs and rice pilaf-so…

Great job, now it's time for a REAL bikini!

those images make me want to vomit, not because I want to be skinny, but it makes me sick that that is 'proper body image' for so many people. Ugh.

WOW! Cute suit, great progress, (cute tush) :)

It's not tough love, believe me, I was EXACTLY where you stand 2 1/2 years ago. I didn't want it bad enough! I looked in the mirror and said OMG look at what I've let myself become, I want to change it, so tomorrow I will, but the laziness stayed, and I came to accept that what I had become was who I am. It's SO far from…

I agree with the 'you don't want it badly enough' answer because OP's words were almost identical to mine on New Years day 2011. It took me 4 months from there to realize that looking in the mirror and feeling miserable wasn't good enough, and I didn't have to accept what the mirror reflected. She hasn't quite hit bottom…

LOTS of water, forget about being so strict and enjoy yourself for a few days. Stay off the scale for a couple days after, because if you eat out, you consume too much sodium, and probably some alcohol, which will cause you to retain water anyway. Come back refreshed and ready to work hard when you get home.

Great job, keep it up!

Love it on men, hate it on women. Women, I prefer strong defined shoulders, and a smooth curvey abdominal area... yep, I love admiring healthy women just as much as beautiful men. ;)

Amazing! :)

Yes, this... And I discovered road biking. it's a blast.

This. You must add protein to each and every meal, or you will constantly feel hungry. Plus veggies cause gas, which can easily be confused with hunger pangs.
