I feel like nobody really gives a flippin' *kitten* about anything.

how much water are you drinking? sounds like you should be at least having 12 cups, minimum with the calorie deficit and amount of exercise you're doing, plus the crazy sodium. Watch out for it, it's everywhere, especially in 'light' and reduced calorie stuff, to enhance the crap taste....

Remember that old adage, Rome was not built in a day. You need to understand that you did not gain all the weight in a few weeks, it will take more than a few weeks to lose it. Be patient. Take measurements first and foremost, chest, bust, waist, hips, thighs, biceps and neck. If you are working out regularly (strength…

I got our treadmill on craigslist about 5 years ago. It's a Proform. Great machine, no bells and whistles, 4 workouts. It's probably 10 years old already. Go to Sears or D*ck's Sprorting goods and get a maintenance kit and keep the rollers lubed and the underside of the belt lubed and clean.

Are you holding onto something with your wearing arm if it's a bracelet? It may not then, be logging the movement if it's not seeing an elevation change or that typical up-down movement associated with our arms moving when we walk naturally. Same may be true with an elliptical.

Costco! My sports bras are medium duty, $20 for two Champoin, and my racerback tanks, $10, capris $17 and pants $22. The clothes are Kirkland, Costco's home brand, but they hold up amazingly well. I have some that are three years old and still look new!

baby steps both in terms of diet AND exercise. If walking is a problem, make tiny goals, like walking to the next telephone pole, and back. When that doesn't hurt, move to the next telephone pole, and back.

Funny, isn't it, what our brains tell us isn't ok? Gaining weight while lifting isn't really that bad. You WILL start to see it go down. I bet in the three weeks, you have a difference in your measurements. Remember that with lifting, your physique will look different with a 20lb loss than what a regular loss of 20lb will…

You're an inspiration! :)

I know how you could lose more than 100lb's in an instant...dump that meathead.

Bodyglide or any athletic anti-chafe, (for a budget cream, many cyclists use diaper cream, nappy cream for saddle sores, abrasions)

portion control, exercise, and deciding if taking that risk, and eating a binge trigger food is REALLY worth all those extra calories, or if you can control yourself enough to have one piece and leave it alone after. 'trigger foods' are bad. If you don't have enough control to keep the binges at bay, then no, you can't…

Ditto. OP, you have no right to judge anyone else but yourself. Something about glass houses and throwing stones...

I hit rock bottom first, saw pictures that made me ashamed. So ashamed. Then jumped right in, no tiptoeing into the shallow end, full head first dive into the deep end...

Found my good weather passion, cycling, last fall. Don't tell hubby, but when I say I'm going for a ride, it's about fun, new routes AND the HUGE calorie burn, and playtime, and pushing myself for a new great pace. Now I just have to find something in winter that doesn't suck my spirit right out of me...
